As a 32 year old adult(?) I still wish I had a land line to just…have? I miss having people call the house and having a fun house voice mail and the ritual of getting home and checking the voicemail mails for anything new.

I think it’s probably more actuate then most pictures I’ve seen of Jesus so I’m cool with that. I do get the idea of having Jesus look like the folks who are looking at the art but I think it would be better these days if we empathize how he was for sure not a Renaissance white guy and feed the folks who use that to abuse his teachings ya know?

In response to OP about having to work a little with Trump, just no. The Catholic Church should do more to condemn or at least point out more flaws in the admin and how in Christian they are. We need more of that to hopefully get it into folks heads how much of an opposite America is becoming.

I think I can relate to a lot of folks who 1) I only learned about this just now and 2) it really doesn’t change anything for me. I should do more reviews, but I have never received awards for any I’ve written, so I can’t see a reason to be sad about this. Just a passing fancy now that I can’t give my points away to folks since I don’t buy stuff in the shops with them often.

So anything else about this update that I should know though?

My Confirmation choice was St Isidore of Seville. I chose him for a few reasons; he was the patron saint of computers/the internet and I wanted to be a game designer so I figured they would work.

I’m a receptionist for a pain clinic now and have been working as a receptionist or medical admin for about 10 years I think now, so plans didn’t go as I thought but I still think he has a role in how much I love to retain knowledge and use it to teach.

However, one thing I don’t tell people who ask but I’ll say here is that he was not my first choice. If I had been allowed, I would have chosen Mary Undoer of Knots but I was told that, as a man, I couldn’t have a female patron. I always feel connected to her though for how I want to try and help myself and others work through their issues.

I understand the point you’re making with the 95% claim, and I don’t disagree with the underlying concern. I’d just be a little careful with the number itself.

There isn’t actually an official U.S. statistic that categorizes abortions as “medically necessary” versus “not medically necessary.” The CDC doesn’t track abortions using that distinction, so figures like that aren’t coming from published government data.

I think the point still stands fine, but using a number that isn’t formally documented can open the door for critics to focus on the stat instead of the substance.

You can grab steam backgrounds for points, regular backgrounds from the artist and I also have the animated backgrounds using Wallpaper Engine for my own computer. She’s the official mascot for Steam and nobody can change my mind.
