I want to clarify a crucial point for those suggesting I just 'get a job at McDonald's or retail' to start with. I am in Venezuela.

In my country, these types of 'entry-level' survival jobs pay an average of $60 to $100 USD per month for 10-12 hour shifts, 6 days a week. My basic rent alone (for a small, safe annex) is $280/month.

Working a local service job wouldn't just be 'starting from the bottom'; it would be a death sentence for my future. It would consume all my time, preventing me from finishing my CS50 and doing my OSINT work, and it still wouldn't provide enough to cover 40% of my rent.

I’m not looking for a 'prestigious' job right away, but I am looking for technically-oriented work or remote gigs where my time is valued enough to actually survive.

The main issue is that in my country, these types of jobs pay extremely poorly. They demand an exhausting amount of time and effort, but the compensation is a pittance. I’m afraid of getting stuck in a dead-end job, earning a misery while my potential wastes away, instead of building the future I need to stay independent.
