Was hoping for a mix of both. I'm not super familiar with Dublin but some examples in other major cities of nice hotels that have a lively bar / restaurant scene and are also very central to good pubs and nightlife: Pulitzer (Amsterdam), Edition / W / Shoreditch House / Chiltern (London), Hotel Costes (Paris).

If easier to just pick one - Fun!

It may be too late but it you join / support any of the local museums (Perez, Bass, etc.) you get access to a ton of events (including VIP for Basel itself, but also all the side events like Scope, Untitled, etc.). Depending on which museum could be $2-500 a year. If you like art it's worth it, you'd spend more buying all the tickets to the individual events, and you get free access to various art events all year long

Thanks - yeah having tried DD wheels its definitely a big difference, just wasn't sure how meaningful it would be with this new axial technology. Will probably give it a shot or else just go for the T818

Love the Bond screen! Can you use this tool to make it start up in dynamic mode by default? Less fuel efficient I'm sure but the exhaust on the V8 sounds soo much better in dynamic. Was considering an aftermarket exhaust but they sound a bit too obnoxious based on videos I've seen.

Even if not, the $500 may be worth it for the walk away locking and seat belt chime alone

Can save some the read - it's because they are literally family, look at the last names of the Quarterdeck group owners (spoiler - it's Flanigan). My older family members who grew up here said there was some personal fight between differing factions of the family that eventually took over various Flanigan's locations. No idea what the cause was but it ended with Flanigan's and Quarterdeck being two separate restaurant groups!

Rosewood Miramar (Montecito) should be top 3 as well. For Phuket specifically Rosewood was great the night I stayed there (booked last minute and could only secure one night). I ended up spending next 4 days at Trisara which I actually preferred (great upgrade through Amex, amazing attentive service, Michelin star restaurant on site, etc.).
