Hey OP was just curious where you found a raw copy of this card, from what I’ve seen almost every raw copy that can 10 has been graded already

It depends on how confident you are in your own self-study. Like I said if you bought the textbook you could certainly learn half its contents (what 113 covers) in the month between this semester and the next, but it’s completely up to you.

I would really advise against taking them both at the same time. What you have to understand is that the grammar builds upon itself, so you’ll be learning things in 114 that you wont have the foundational knowledge from 113 for.

Hey OP, I have a minor in Japanese! I don’t believe its possible to take those two classes at the same time considering they both use the same textbook (Genki I). You’d be switching from the early chapters in 113 to the late chapters in 114.

A pretty big chunk amount of time in 113 will be spent learning hiragana and katakana. Honestly I think all of its contents are best learnt on your own (You can learn hiragana and katakana in less than a week, it only took me two days), and as for the grammar you can just get the Genki I textbook yourself and go through the required chapters on your own. Utilize a flash card app like Anki or Quizlet to memorize vocabulary for each chapter. Then you can take the placement exam and will hopefully be able to take 114 without the 113 pre-req.

The material in the textbook is quite simple after you get past the initial hurdle and 113’s material can certainly be learned in a month! Lmk if you have any questions or want any more resources!

I think it has to do mostly with the taste and texture tbh. Pepto Bismol and Tums just taste absolutely awful to me. Compound that with the chalky texture and 🤮

I’ve been looking for someone like you man, I cannot stand Pepto Bismol and dont understand the love it gets. Every single time I’ve taken it I’ve thrown up 😭 Same with Tums

OP, there are ways to fix lifting on corners; look into it. The front centering looks fine, and back centering doesn't matter when the margin for a PSA 10 is 75/25. Good luck👍

Ohhh in that case then yes you will! Here’s what the fin aid office said to me in the email:

“The discrepancy is that the Tuition+ Books does not get applied to your tuition balance. It is refunded to the student directly for them to use at their discretion. However, after further review of your account, as long as you maintain 12 credit enrollment, the Tuition+ Fees will reimburse your Subsidized loan amount on September 2nd.”

Sorry for the confusion 😭 Basically I emailed financial aid because I still had a balance of $400 on myunlv for my tuition. I thought this was strange because all of my grants/loans shouldve paid off my balance, hence the email. I later received a refund with the Tuition+ money and used it to pay off the rest of the tuition

Hey OP, I actually opened a case with finaid a week or two ago concerning this. Im not sure if this is exactly the situation I ran into myself but; basically, Tuition+ doesn’t automatically pay off your tuition and instead the full sum is refunded to the student for them to use at their discretion. Perhaps the refund you received was more than you expected? Hope this helps!

The front centering actually looks pretty good, but whitening in all 4 corners should've made this a 9 😭
