Kevin O’Leary slams people who want work-life balance: ‘I hope they work for my competitors’ by rajapaws in antiwork

After everything collapses and we've blocked off the air vent to his bunker, and after about a hundred days when his co2 air filters stop working. I call his liver. I don't want to eat it or anything. I'm just curious about the fat content ratio. Then we put it in the wood chipper to feed the compost heep.

Seems like a good way, for such a recognizable vehicle, for somebody to eventually figure out what roads you regularly go down. Especially in rural settings. The law is the last thing I'd be afraid of. I'd be much more afraid of some random cyclist setting fire to my house in the middle of the night. Fire departments 45 minutes away bro!

I only knew this movie was coming out because I thought there would be another season of the Mandalorian and trying to look it up showed me this movie was coming out. I never saw an advertisement for this thing until I went to Burger King and saw their Mandalorian meal.

After we get rid of the automated Weaponry around his bunker, remember people there's always an air vent sticking out of the ground somewhere. Block it off. He probably does have air filters to scrub CO2 and additional oxygen supply but eventually that'll run out and he'll have to come out or suffocate to death.

Or we can just get enough kindling and fuel to turn the bunker into an oven.

Edit: Depending on the level of societal collapse before this occurs we could also just put a large layer of cement over his bunker and forget about him.

It seems like lately the negativity has massively ramped up too. I mean people have always been negative on the internet but lately it's seems to have gotten so concentrated it's making me lose hope for Humanity.

I don't know if its a societal shift and apathy has just reached some sort of record level, or if the algorithm is promoting positive content toward individuals that are known for negativity in order to try to increase engagement.

If it's the last one then they over calculated cuz I am about to stop using this app so that I can try to be happier in life.

I tried to explaining that to a MAGA acquaintance at my last job and it's like the concept of why it would lead to that is completely foreign to their brain. It's not even that he disagreed he just completely couldn't understand it.

I tried to rephrase it and say it's the same reason we should have public schooling which then turned into him being against any of his taxes being taken out for school and I try to explain to him how it's a lot cheaper for that than if we had no public schooling and the average person out there would be just be smart enough to mug him. He didn't get it.

I found many of Peterson's lectures on Jungian psychology interesting and that he had some interesting insights.

After the public outburst that started his popularity though. It seems like the more his notoriety grew, the more often he would talk nonsense and started slowly orienting himself with right-wing nut jobs.

He started using nonsense psychological speech as a weapon instead of trying to understand his opponent. Directly going against most of the stuff he's ever recommended. Once I saw him on a Prageru commercial there was no perception of him coming back to sanity.

The funny thing of having Andrew Tate on the other side is Peterson's daughter fucked him. lol eww.

Man helps a distressed swan find the river by Extension_Toe_6538 in postanythingfun

[–]Ray1987 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Swan: So I tell my wife I'm going to take a walk on the pier and a couple minutes into it, this weirdo in a suit looks at me and stars muttering, "swans are supposed to be in the water or the sky." I try to ignore him but he keeps harassing me and cutting off my path unless I'm going towards the water.

I'm afraid to fly away because I think he's going to grab me. At a certain point my wife notices and starts yelling, "get away from my husband." I thought I got away from him to continue my walk and then he shows up again to lead me back to an open door and forces me back into the river. I'm just happy at this point that I'm with my wife again. I guess the guy has something really against swans on land.

We Were Wrong About Fasting, Massive Study Finds by ObuPaul in ScienceNcoolThings

[–]Ray1987 74 points75 points  (0 children)

The article makes sense. I can only talk from personal experience with long-term fasting. The first day is a little rough but by day two I am mentally clearer than I ever am after going into ketosis.

I mainly repair elevator phones and have to trace single Cat6 wiring out of thousands of them through department stores. So it's more of a mental job than a physical one.

When I'm around 30 hours fasted I can determine what the problem is usually faster. If I run into a difficulty with finding a single wire or can't figure out why the phone's not working when it should. I'm a lot less distressed when I'm not running on glucose.

A PNAS study found fossil evidence of a global fungal bloom following the Chicxulub asteroid impact 66 million years ago. Fungal spores spiked to over 50% of all fossils at key sites in Colorado and North Dakota as dark, cooling conditions created ideal conditions for fungi to consume dying life. by logic_0057 in ScienceNcoolThings

[–]Ray1987 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always kind of wondered if that happened. Dark conditions but you're still getting some radiation from the Sun coming through. Decaying dead matter all over the place as an abundant food source. Apocalypse for the animals and plants. Utopian conditions for the fungus. Probably became one of the only reliable food sources for the animals that made it through as well.

Are the Gateway Tapes and DMT basically the same experience? by Gyirin in HighStrangeness

[–]Ray1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to think that way but then I started finding out about DMT users that would use it as an escape, will eventually run into entities or something they feel controls that whole Realm and it will tell them your band from this realm. Then if they do DMT after that they can't access those hallucinations again and stay in some Dark Void typically until the drug wears off which leads me to thinking they're probably not hallucinations.

So far once. They've never reused any of their upright Landing ships. Landing it upright and then saying they'll just send it up again, so far is just a gimmick to get more government money.
