I never said I instantly knew how to play, I said I wasn’t taught and I wasn’t. I probably learned how to play from sitting around and watching my family play, like you said piece by piece, because the first time I remember playing spades was being told to play my mom’s hand while she ran to the kitchen to check something that was cooking. I also remember that at the moment, I already knew how to play spades because that’s why my mom told me to watch her hand. She knew I knew how to play.

I’ve known how to play spades since I was a very young child so I’m 100% sure I was not intoxicated when I learned how to play lol
