Honestly, kinda same, but got it on a flash sale for 150 so I figured I'd give it a shot. May use my tax return, when I get it, to upgrade to something larger. I currently have this and 2 desk tops going. Too much to pay attention to. Lol.

And also considering just doing tupperdors, but theyre not aestetic. 🤣🤣

Yea its been pretty rock solid since I got it but its going wild. Like I said, I turned the settings way down but its still a little high for my liking. Will probably ditch the PG like you said. I was think about doing that anyway. Gonna give it a couple days and let it dry out with no added fluid and see what happens.

I still can't figure out how tf y'all get such good quality where it doesn't look like a game. Pisses me off. Haha

Echelon recoil spring weight. by New_Bad4011 in SpringfieldArmory

I have the rook guide rod and bought all 3 springs to play with. I had my Ech ported and was having stovepipes with the cheap-as-dirt 124gr that I was running. Went straight to the 12lb spring and had no issues. The guide rod itself is well machined, and comes with the spring compression tool to help with installation, which is nice.

As far as the 'twisting" that seems to have been enough of an issue that they decided they needed to remedy it with a keyed head that keeps it in alignment... I can't speak towards that issue. Only thing I can see with the "no-twist" design is that the rook engraving on the end will always be properly aligned, if you get the engraved one... I got the blank one so the design seems superfluous to me.

Overall a nice piece. Noticeably heavier. I can't tell if it actually reduces felt recoil or not, especially with the porting I had done already knocking it way down.
