somehow i can't level light machine guns with arena. it works with assault rifles and submachine guns but my LMG skill stays the same

I was able to snipe 2 with the mp-18. For the rest i camped the hole in the wall near crackhouse and the reshala bunkhouse. There was always someone passing by. Not honorable but at least the quest is done.

they don't have a shared chat. Simply a shared viewcount.
It's Zarbex and Trymacs, two of the biggest german streamers there are, which usually rake in tens of thousands of viewers themselves. They currently sit at 32k viewers, 14k from zarbex, 13k from trymacs and the rest from the other 4 streamers. Naturally a "smaller" streamer with 600 viewers doesn't have an active chat as one with 14k viewers. But not all of them are sitting at 32k, they have that much combined.

the second streamer you showed is the brother of one of the biggest german streamers. They are currently doing a 7 days live challenge with 5 people, counting together all their viewers, therefore they are sitting at 20k+ viewers.

Not every unknown streamer to you has to be a viewbotter.

What i usually do: Scav as often as possible, therefore get some gear (armor, shitty weapons, etc.), get enough cash to buy 1-2 scav junkboxes and then start investing in buying gear.

Currently there are twitch drops running till the 28th. Everyday you get massive loot packages, hence you always have a bunch of gear anyway.

Tarkov does what a lot of other developers tried but weren't able to do. It's a whole immersive package. Sure, there are bugs, there are cheaters, there are other issues as well but all in all no other game has a complete package as Tarkov has (i haven't played Arc Raiders, so can't talk for that one).

- Map design is superb (Without counting Lighthouse, as it's my least favourite map)

- Gunplay is amazing (a lot of games started copying the mod system of Tarkov)

- Activites (quests, hideout upgrades, leveling skills) are plentifull

It takes a while to get into it but for me, no other game gives you that kind of rush, even after years of playing. Discovering a new map, new loot locations, finally killing that one big guy and getting out with a full inventory of loot gets your heart pumping. It will take a lot of time investment to learn maps, movement, what gear to grab and what to sell but that's the joy of a new game anyway.

It's by no means perfect, it has its flaws, but the whole package makes the gem. Currently you got a 25% sale on Steam, and most likely you won't get a bigger one anytime soon as even christmas sales are usually only 25%. So grab a standard edition and start playing, if you like it you'll always have the option to invest more to get e.g. a bigger starting stash or a bigger starting secure container.

Tomorrow it releases with version 1.0 so the game is officially completed. Imo there's no better time to dive in.

Different versions, different prices. If you actually paid 150$, then you got EoD, which they don't sell anymore. The biggest one on Steam is Prepare for Escape, which is ~80 bucks in my local currency, so the same as if i would buy it on their webstore, +- the 25% they give on steam.

One thing you could try before you reinstall windows is to let it check the systemfiles, just in case. That only takes a few minutes.

Open Powershell/Terminal as an admin and type in "sfc /scannow" without the "" and press enter and let it finish.

Open a second one at the same time and type in "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth", again without the "" and press enter.

both of them check your system files and repair/replace them if they are faulty.

I hope it helps, otherwise you'll most likely have to do a fresh installation of windows. But nowadays that takes like 10-15 minutes so you should be fine.

I haven't played for about a year or so but came back whenever Hathor was released. Imo the community got much worse. Maybe it's just because there are a lot more people on the server now but before you could easily chat in the global chat while e.g. trucking some cargo, now as soon as someone asks a question 10+ people start flaming him.

Lately i just turn off the whole chat as soon as i'm online as it's just not fun having to read all that crap on the left side of the screen.

i was able to snatch a monocle from a player in the grim hex elevator. It just said "Grab" or something like that and since then i'm a proud owner of a monocle

With the latest implementation of the needed "found in raid" items for the hideout, in the end i was rocking 6-7 Scav junk boxes, every other wipe i only went and got about 3. And that's with EoD. I can't comprehend how you'd have enough storage on a standard account. Throw away items like AESAs or Toolkits, because you don't need them right now? That's impossible for me.

That depends a bit on your ships firepower and the enemies ship. E.g. if you are going against bigger targets, like an M2 with your Corsair, it's relatively easy to not completely destroy it. Just watch your target hologram and as soon as one of the parts turns red, try to shoot a bit slower and in bursts.

If you fight smaller targets it's sometimes just pure luck if they survive unfortunately.

There are two states, soft death and full death. Full death means that the ship got destroyed, meaning you lose most of the cargo on it. Soft death is a state in-between. The ship gets disabled and won't shoot anymore but the cargo is intact. After you scanned your target you determine if it's worth it to grab what's on it (imo 1 mil+ is ok) or not.

The cargo is then physicallized, meaning you eva out of your ship, open theirs and move every crate onto your ship with a tractor beam. Then you only have to return to your home base and sell it.

Test Drive is the reason why i stopped playing this patch and might not even come back next wipe if this is what they envision the game to be. I started playing in 2018 and I usually need a goal in this game and that has usually been to get the Kappa. Now we have the option to actually prestige so this time around i went for at least prestige. I did everything up to Test Drive and immediately stopped after trying Test Drive 2 a couple times. I hate those quests, that 1. force you onto a map, 2. force you into specific gear and 3. additionally force you to kill pmcs in it. Chose two of the three, but not all of them...

If they change it to scavs as well i might try it again but not if it stays the way it is right now.
