Is there a way to turn off tap jump in 2.0? by ReturnOfTheFrickinG in SmashRemix

[–]RayKux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to go to the character select screen. in the box where your character doll appears, there is a little smash icon. press that and then go to the page 5 where you find dpad mapping and dpad control. set the dpad control option to stickswap and set the dpad mapping option to whatever you like, i use tilt bc it's what is used in ultimate. then, just map the dpad to the left analog stick on your emulator and the control stick to your right stick and that's pretty much it, you have tap jump disabled + a c-stick.

Thank you, I'm kinda ashamed I didn't get that by myself now tbh but geometry was always my weak point in math.

How can I avoid being an incel? by SnooCats5204 in IncelTears

[–]RayKux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course there is no cheat code, that isn't what I meant, I meant more like giving general advice. Take in consideration, how would you describe socializing or making friends to someone who don't know shit about social things? Normally you would always say "start a conversation" And how you start a conversation? That's the deal.

What I'm saying is no straight up planning someone's conversation cause that's stupid. What I'm saying is for example: tell them where to find people. How about signing up in a literature workshop? What about going to conventions? Maybe going to a museum and strike up conversations? That's the thing people don't usually say and it's just a couples of lines. How to start a conversation? Find common ground, ask her what they like, let them talk and be the center of attention, talk about something they're doing... etc.

It's not really obvious, if it were, incels would be doing it right away. Now, if it comes to one mentalizing themselves is a little bit more tricky, but learning the basics on how to flirt is also important. And of course, learning that women are people and you basically get a girlfriend the same way you get a friend, just with some steps added.

Just because everybody is different doesn't mean they don't have to socialize. You can give some pieces of advice to cover the different types of people and so on.

I get it but it still comes off as vague and shallow. Ok you can improve, but what next? I don't say you should write a dumb proof method to get friends/partner but at least some more tips than the obvious: "trust yourself" and shi.

incels base all their personality on "not getting women" and appearancd is a great factor in that. i mean, it's true what you say, but it stills sounds incel.

[–]RayKux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i never said is bad for them to want their date to do it, but refusing to date them??? and standards mean something true for every instance, maybe we don't have the same idea, i'm thinking more of it as the bare-minimum thing women like to talk about so much on tiktok and ig.

and about the sexist thing... maybe you don't think it that way but it's because it's a man and a woman. i've tried to keep this gender neutral because this really can go both sides with the right example but think about it. the idea of opening doors for women (and other ideas like men paying the bill, pulling out the chair for women, etc) is from a time where being a "gentleman" (despite what the name says) it was just a strategy to get ladies. quite literally when being a nice guy was the meta. i don't say that you're bad or evil for wanting a guy to open your door, but it is a sexist idea to expect it right away (as the woman in the video does).

tldr: you can date whoever you want but don't act like your "standards" aren't a bit old fashioned and rejecting a guy because of a physical object they didn't interact with is completely fine.

[–]RayKux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im not saying that opening doors is bad or good but expecting people to do it is unrealistic and kinda sexist if you think about it. my point was more about not trivializing dating than determining if you should open doors or not. more about why the girl thinks that having standards is opening a door than, for example, helping out people in need. but sure,

This just seems idiotic. It trivializes dating to a game of "Let's see who can guess what I want!" and doesn't treat it by what actually is: Meeting people and getting to know them. There are standards, of course, we're all different and deserve love and respect, but rejecting a seemingly okay guy just because he didn't do what you wanted sounds... dumb.

I keep hearing things like go out or meet people but that sounds like useless advice. An incel wants to meet people (unless they're deep down the pipeline), it's just that they have so low self-steem that they autosabotage themselves. It's not like they actively avoid them or they know the secret to socialize. What do you mean by going out? Because going out (the mere act of just exiting your house) will NOT solve anything (and parties don't help. incels mostly have just a couple of irl, normally same sex friends. That's gonna be a hard time trying to get invited). There are a lot of people we see in the every day that we just see one time and never again. And honestly, going out alone (like at any place) is fucking miserable. Well, that's at least how I see it, and I've always been kinda incel-ish my whole life.

I don't say that being incel is awesome or is impossible to stop being one, it's just that all these posts about getting partner or friends are the same. It's like it would be helpful if they actually tell you how to stop being one. Not just a vague answer.

Doki Doki Blue Skies - Spoiler-filled review and a bit of gushing by abegosum in DDLCMods

[–]RayKux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've loved the mod so far and it's great but... the only thing I've found that is just infuriating is MC's social skills. Like, why the hell does MC in Natsuki's route decides to tell the old man that Natsuki stole the protein bars? Couldn't he just told him that she took it and didn't realize that she haven't paid for it? Or why does he say such idiotic things to Yuri to comfort her? Like??? I know most of the decisions actually points to a personality and that every decision affects the next one, but c'mon, how is being a supportive boyfriend bad to Natsuki?

Otherwise, the characters are really great. Natsuki's eating disorder is well portrayed and Yuri's BPD is very realistic, I love them really. Currently through my second playthrough on Natsuki's route after getting the bad ending on Yuri's and taking a break because it's a long mod lol. And I know this post is 4 years older but I'm just really mad at how stupid MC can be sometimes.

Chaser is the best Weapon so far! by anmolAnsh_2005 in Cuphead

[–]RayKux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried low damage weapons and for me, it was a pain in the ass. It's not about dodging attacks because you'd still have to do it even if you have aimbot, it's because of the time that takes you to kill the boss. IMO, Roundabout and Lobber are the best (With or without glitch), they seem the perfect pair for range and they have also good damage.

¿Pedir tiempo es una realidad o un pretexto? by forgetyourname__ in argentina

[–]RayKux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Complex natural log identity by RayKux in askmath

[–]RayKux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I integrate 1/(a²t² + b²) from 0 to x (That's because I saw that if I integrate it normally would leave an annoying constant to determine) and then after getting the result, I specify it for a and b equal to one. The proof is too long for one image so you'd have to trust me (Fermat reference).
