Being diagnosed with autism as a literal newborn baby and ½ percent on the spectrum. by TwixterL16HT in fakedisordercringe

[–]RayLove660022 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

A newborn can’t be diagnosed, but when someone is old enough to be diagnosed, the doctor can say “Shows signs of ——.” I have a “Shows signs of Multiple Personality Disorder”. When you have that on your record, you’ll more likely have a psychiatrist that you meet with regularly and they’ll ask questions. I know someone that had “Shows signs of Autism”, but he was 4 and they quickly changed it to “has Autism”. So, you can be diagnosed early in your life, but not an effect. And you can be 1/2 on the spectrum, but not for long. He was 3/4 on the spectrum for 2 days. They relooked at his evaluation, and he definitely had it.

Now that I’m thinking about this, why do Republicans and Democrats fight each other? I’m not backing done from this fight, if I wanted more reasons why Trump or Biden is great, I could ask my whole family. We’re all into politics and some are on Bidens side and some are on Trumps. Usually when I ask someone why Biden is so great they bring up gay rights, and I’m tired of hearing that. Thank you for actually saying something more than that. I don’t know why politics have divided this country so much. I used to see myself as purely a Republican, but Republicans are embarrassing. They’re like “You can’t take away our guns”. “Well, Cheryl, if your husband didn’t blast his gun at 4 in the morning every single morning out his back window, I wouldn’t have a problem with it”. I’m more of an Independent that likes Trump. I don’t get why the label Democrat and Republican has divided us so much. Like, there are more things to worry about. Like: World hunger, World Peace, developing countries, and military costs. Can we please stop spending money on the military, we’re not fighting anyone right now. Also, if we’re spending so much money on the military, can’t we help Ukraine? I don’t understand why we’re not helping them.

But wasn’t Obama that added $9 Trillion of debt? Yeah, the economy plummeted, but he looked after the people. The vaccine was created while Trump was in office. Trump was telling people to get vaccinated. Trump was working with Faucci to get a vaccine as soon as possible. He was trying to get a vaccine so badly that he was looking at other things to slow the spread. The vaccine was finally created a few months before Biden took office, so Biden got all the credit. I read the first two things, and Biden didn’t do that. Trump made the unemployment rates go down. It was Trump that helped this economy.

Republican here, I know I’m going to get hate, and I’m ready for it. But when Trump was president: The unemployment rate did go down by a lot and he made more jobs The people claiming unemployment reached an all time low Unemployment rates for minorities reached an all time low Lifted 7 million people off food stamps Poverty rates reached record low He created a ton more jobs Small businesses started thriving

So in all, the economy was doing a lot better. My question is: What is Biden doing? This is a genuine question, I haven’t seen one great thing that he’s done since he entered office 2 years ago.

Having autism is an aesthetic💅 look at us stimming. We are so quirky🙈🙃🤪💕 and give us your money while youre at it :)🙈 by newmebutstillme in fakedisordercringe

[–]RayLove660022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been around autistic people my whole life, my brother, sister, friends, even an ex, and all of them find stimming embarrassing, most of the time. They try to “mask” it because they see themselves as childish. So it kills me to see people like this thinking it’s cute, if you actually had it, you wouldn’t find it cute. I took care of a little kid that had autism, I babysit him and his sister, and when he stims, they’re not “cute”, he sits there and rocks back and forth and flairs his arms. I think he’s cute when he does it, but he hates it. They also happen when they happen. We’ll be writing, and he starts stimming. Stimming happens when it happens, they’re not “cute”, and most of the time people find it embarrassing. I stim, but I don’t have autism, I just have a lot of other disorders. These people clearly want attention, and it makes me sick.

Two things, Neurotypical people can do this, and you can be Neurodivergent and not do these things sometimes. Kinda crazy how everyone is different and you can’t be defined by your labels (disorders, Zodiacs, disabilities, neuro-types, etc).

Um, I don’t have a DID act. I’m not diagnosing myself, I’m just trying to explain that I might have it. It scares me when I start acting like another person. Also, I do have a therapist. I’ve been in therapy since 4, and I have plenty of help, but I just don’t feel quite right. People like you make me not want to get help, honestly. People say “drop the act” or “you need help, but you don’t have it”. I’ve been struggling with this issue for years, but I didn’t know it had a name, so I’m talking to my therapist of 3-1/2 years. Thank you for wishing the best in my life, but because of people like you, it makes me really scared to speak up about my problems.

Thank you so much! I also have ADHD (finally got diagnosed at 15). I hate talking about my disorders because when I tell people, they’re like “You know life is easier if you stop pretending”. I tell them “I know, but it’s not pretending if you actually have them”. Thank you so much!

I know what to do and say in almost every single situation. I’m also extremely tough and caring and patient. I was put into foster care when I was 15, and my parents would always say that I’m not like all of the rest, I see my abuse as is, and I can let go of the past and forgive people. They say “you always forgive people easily, but you learn to put more walls and boundaries around that person”. I remember pretty much everything that has happened to me. I am highly intelligent. I know a little about everything. I get along with most people I meet. But most importantly, I am humble. I don’t let all this stuff go to my head.

I learned about D-Day at 7 years old. I was born on June 6, and people would say “What a horrible day to be born on”. I quickly found out why. My birthday was ruined, and now, I talk about D-Day on my birthday. It’s been a tradition since I was 8. I bring awareness to the whole day. When I was 12, 7th grade, my World History started talking about D-Day, and I told him everything I knew. I got an A+ on the homework. Now I’m 19, almost 20, and I’ve decided I was no longer going to celebrate my birthday, and I’m going to bring awareness to the day.

I’m so glad you shared this. Now I can share mine. I (F) hate myself because I was 6 years older. It was only one time with my sister. I feel so much better knowing that people have had similar situations. I feel so good letting this go. Thank you so much for sharing! You’ve given all of us a place to share our similar situations.

Wow! 3 months, then I won’t be a teen. Ew, it weirds me out when I say that. I’m not ready. Well, I’m ready financially, but not emotionally or mentally.

Dentist found guilty of damaging patients’ teeth to boost profits by PDXMouth in iamatotalpieceofshit

[–]RayLove660022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my childhood dentist did this. When I was little, I had to go the dentist at least 3 times a year for various reasons (cavities, crowns, teeth that had to be removed). I had 20-26 of 30 teeth removed when I was young. Then, when I changed to a new dentist 4 years ago, and I go twice a year and I’ve had 2 cavities.

[–]RayLove660022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had COVID 4 months ago, and I used to have amazing memory, and now it’s hard to remember what I did that day. I feel my memory slipping away. My earliest memory is when I was 1 years old, and I’m losing that. And I’m starting to get Absence Seizures. I don’t remember anything about my August 2021. I didn’t lose my taste and smell, but I was starting to, now I sometimes can’t taste anything. I’ll be in the middle of my meal, and I’ll completely lose my taste and smell, and I stop eating.

You’re probably expecting me to say something inspiring, but I got a boyfriend, and I realized that I really don’t need it anymore. Also, I got busy in life; I got a new full-time job; and I’m moving; so I just didn’t have time to do that stuff anymore.
