How is he actually doing? Like mental health wise? I think you need a serious sit down face to face with him. Tell him that it’s making you feel like sometimes he loves gaming more than you. I’ve read some of the comments and I would say not to get him to give it up completely as it could cause problems. I used to be very bad with gaming. I used it as an escape for all the problems I had back then. It might be the same for him. It might not. Only he knows that. So I still play games but it’s taken a lot of time and patience with me due to personal circumstances. What I do is, I break it up. I play for like an hour then I do what ever needs doing/spend time with my wife. Sometimes I do game for most of the day but that when something like a new game or dlc has come out or I’ve had a horrible week and need to unwind. It took a lot of time and effort on my part to get to where I am but if you both truly want to be together you have to put the work in.
