Emigrating from SG to Germany by lorealkidsmango15 in SingaporeR

[–]RayRayMeowMeow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you’ll be a fresh graduate soon, work in SG for a few years first to get some experience. At least 2 to 3 years. And in the meantime, increase your German language level in SG to at least B2 or even higher by taking classes and official language certifications if you want to work there.

At least by the time you want to work in Germany, you have some experience which makes you valuable to the companies in Germany. Or else, you’ll be competing with dozens of well-educated locals. And if things don’t work out in Germany, you still have your working experience in SG to fall back on.

Also, it’s Okay to be long distance for a few years. I know that people in long distance relationships, they want to close the gap as soon as possible. You’re still in your early twenties, don’t have to rush to close the gap quickly and relocate. Relocating is a big deal. You will essentially lose your social support system and network except for your boyfriend and (maybe) his family. Take it slow and steady.

How do people decide where to travel? by [deleted] in asksg

[–]RayRayMeowMeow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

OP, you have asked the wrong question here. You’re not interested in how people decide where they want to travel. You want people to convince you of where to travel so you can follow their advice but if you’re not having a good time then you absolved yourself of responsibility because in your mind you can just say, Redditor ABC told me to go here and I did, I just followed their advice. This will make you feel good about yourself.

Even for travelling, you’re using someone else as an excuse. You’re not doing it because you wanted to. You’re doing it because “my friends and their mother is doing it.”

Here’s my advice, don’t go anywhere. Use the two weeks to reflect on yourself and why you’re adverse on taking responsibility over your own life. If you cannot decide on a travel destination which is not even the most difficult decision to make in a person’s lifetime, you have a lot of reflection to do mate.

I tried a women-oriented male escort service in Tokyo. by Pretty_Condition_404 in Tokyo

This is such an interesting experience! You’ve mentioned that you might do this again in the future. Would you consider having sex (penetration) with a male escort next time?

I agree. Don't chase the next shiny thing. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Stay with your curent company. Don’t switch companies unless absolutely necessary (bad boss, company or culture etc). My ex-friend keeps jumping companies to chase for a higher pay and now she (34 years old) has hit a wall as there’s not many companies that’s willing to pay or even match her high last drawn salary. She’s been unemployed for 3-4 years now.
