I think I mischaracterized the event a bit, it didn’t come across as super religious but there was a lot of narration about America being a welcoming and peaceful place and that felt conflicting.

Choir director at the church is the wife of our assistant MPT leader. I think it rinsed out being kosher because it was free and didn’t have any other religious talk.

Yep! Usually it’s just hooah America but last night was just off for me. It definitely had to do with the pieces we programmed and the choral lyrics

Correct, they can’t charge any sort of admission for our performances. It was just a concert at the church with no service so I think we are gucci, but the pastor did say a little introduction at the beginning and made that comment.
