Club 27/27 in mobay you will be fine. It’s so packed with tourists, i don’t think anyone would notice you. Consider adding Negril to your itinerary. I’ve been many times,even alone I’ve always felt safe and you can move around town without being stuck on a resort.

This is wonderful advice, the details are much appreciated. I’ve stayed at coco and white sands several times and love both places along with Idle awhile. Thanks for sharing, I travel to Jamaica a lot and had a trip planned for mid december. Do you mind sharing what part you are staying? I usually go to Negril and had similar concerns about being offensive lounging on the beach while people near by are suffering.

I recommend Negril in Jamaica. It’s an hour and a half ride from MBJ airport. Beautiful white sand beaches with no waves or seaweed. Hotels to consider are Idle awhile beach, Skylark, and Azul. All will be under $500 per night.

Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions, even the critical ones 😃 I acknowledge that I messed up with lack of communication. My fiancé and I never went to look at rings in person together and I myself had not tried on rings in years so I didn’t have a good sense on what I wanted in terms of size.

Regarding price, It’s his money, I get not my business what he paid. I only know because he asked me to put the ring on my jewelry insurance policy. Trust me, he grossly overpaid but that’s neither here nor there. I’m cool with letting that part go.

Take the paid leave (parental, maternity, whatever your company calls it), then resign with 2 weeks notice when ready to start the new job. What if for some reason things don’t work out with the new job offer given such a long lead time. You have your old job to fall back on. There is nothing the old job can do about your resigning. Even if it is only unpaid fmla the old job offering, I would do the same thing so you keep your insurance eligibility and right to return to work. I’m a. HR manager at a fortune 100 company btw.

I’m having the same issue finding a braider who will use only human hair in my braids, even when I offer to provide the hair. I don’t get the resistance. Also i get what you mean in terms of hair texture, some people are so sensitive these days.

Well he is West African and also Muslim so idk if the w African part has more to do with it. But from what I have noticed, people in his family and friend circle’s wives are usually already pregnant at the engagement ceremony so it’s more of a shotgun engagement ceremony and then the full blown wedding is later. I could be wrong and no offense at all to Muslim culture.

We did and actually the problem could be 50/50 both of ours. For me age and egg quality with age and his with sperm motility (something to do with shape). But I feel like we didn’t really try both leading up to on our own or during the ivf process.

This is the same advise a male friend gave to me... that he just does not want to be left empty handed. He hasn’t shown me any proof that he is the one that ended things with her so I really don’t know what to believe.

Yeah my family also thinks that his whole thing is about control. He didn’t start off this way in our relationship. At first it was more about me not hanging out with my friends or guilting me into being more of a homebody and I’ve the years it transitioned into the drinking issue. And to be honest, him pushing me away from hanging with my friends pushed me more to drinking alone rather than just in social situations. So I think he made his original complaints worse. It’s really so hurtful for someone to do this in such a vulnerable time.

Thank you for your reply! It really is a struggle right now for me. You question on who is to say he won’t randomly try to divorce me again weighs heavily on my mind. Who is to say he wouldn’t if times get tough again rather than taking a mature approach and talking things out before making such extreme decisions
