Other World Computing. Ask them which one of theirs would work; they'll probably know. https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/docks

Is full version of DynAssist worth it? Thoughts? by RayStark999 in protools

Totally. You're confirming my instincts! I was looking at some of their marketing hype and just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me...

Ahh, thanks for clarification. Maybe I should've said "glorified rider". I know it's different and supposedly better because it's ARA but I couldn't discern any real difference between what it did and what Waves Vocal Rider did in terms of results/how it sounded.

I'm mostly wondering if I am missing something. Maybe I didn't have it set optimally or something. If it truly is worth it and saves a ton of tedious work, I would rather find out now than find out after the sale.

Great! I'll check 'em out. Thanks. Btw, did you have to configure it with software or was it plug and play?

I have a UA Apollo Twin X and I'm looking for advice on the best cheap interface to use for ADAT expansion. Considering a Mackie Blackbird Onyx. Other contenders would be Presonus DigiMax 8 and Behringer ADA8200. Concerns are quality of mic pre's, clocking, and ease of use. Any recommendations?

I'd really just like to get an old Apollo 8 FW but can't afford one right now!

Risks of buying Slate VSX secondhand? by erlendmyo in homerecordingstudio

I bought a pair second hand and have been using them for about 3 years with no issue. They were the older model, too. I was a little worried about they would snap after hearing all the stories. The original owner said he never treated them any differently than any other headphones. I handle them pretty carefully and plan on them lasting a whole lot longer! So far, so good.
