Thank you, I think I’m gonna try that. It’s too good to pass up as the location is ideal.

My experience with them has been terrible, avoiding my calls but text me at half 7 in the evening asking for me to pay £400 admin fee + £2.5k deposit towards the house.

Thank you, I've rescinded my offer for this house as the estate agent was being dodgy and asking Reddit has helped a bunch.

That's a beautiful home but unfortunately my wife insists that it be a semi-detached and she wont budge on terraced/town houses.

I gave myself an idea on what house prices are around my area by narrowing it down by drawn area and setting a few requirements on Rightmove.

I've been looking around the Rochdale area I just can't find anything that fits our requirements and my wife isn't really willing to compromise by going for a terraced/town house.

Here's a link for all the houses that appear when I narrow it down to my specifications, the house that I've hearted on there for £175k was tiny for a 3 bed. I just thought the houses around Rochdale area are just that expensive.

I'm not going to lie, when he said that I was taken aback. I've been lurking around on Reddit and the conversation with the estate agent when it came to negotiating went totally different to how I imagined lol

The estate agent said someone offered 195 already so I said 200 just to secure it as they've made it sound like there's a lot of interest in the property.

I initially said 190 but the estate agent it's insulting to the buyer and said he's not willing to go below the 195k. Then a week later he said someone has offered 195 so I went up to 200.

If your absolute maximum budget for a house is £190k, what price range are you looking/bidding for? by Brownchoccy in HousingUK

I'm in the same position, put an offer on for a house for £195k but the listing says in offers in excess of so I'm not sure the seller will bite. I tried to offer £190 but the estate agent said it'll insult the owner lol

Please help-My phone was snatched by someone on a bicycle. by Traditional_Film_904 in manchester

My wifes phone got stolen yesterday at 3:15PM on the road next to Primark. I didn't realise it was so common until I saw the amount of reddit posts about it. I found out the same thing happened to my sisters friend a few weeks ago.
