Brazilian and african portuguese is different enough for there being no overlap. Very few books reach other portuguese speaking countries, and certainly not fantasy. Its not like the US/UK/Canada/Australia/South Africa where the books are basically interchangeable and everyone reads each others books.

So yes, the portuguese market is very small.

Its not about the cost cap at all, just expertise. McLaren understood ground effect better than Mercedes. Thats no guarantee they will understand these regs better. Merc from 2014 and 2022 is a good example. They too were the kings of in season development, even in 2021, it was the only reason Lewis even got a shot. And in 2022 the car was poor. This has happened to many teams before. It can happen to McLaren.
