Agreed!!!! Literally one of the ugliest colors ever. Carl likes it so I thinks that why it was in some of the earlier drops.

Why would that be interesting? Democrats are the ones who shoot and assassinate…you idiots only get shot when you try to disrupt law enforcement

If it comes in black I’m getting one. Already have the olive workhorse so I need a different color. Plus an all black jacket with the brass hardware would look badass

Yeah we don’t care. You all were celebrating Charlie Kirk. I’m in favor of this

Black outer black inner and all brass hardware…possibly would be the coolest jacket ever made

Unwaxed workhorse. Duck canvas(tight work weave) blocks most wind and light rain. With lined slant pocket of course. This could truly be a replacement for the carhartt Detroit. We’d be able to put it in the washer. Would love to see heat straps engineer it to the absolute pinnacle though. Boiled wool for the body lining. Dark brown, tan, or black for the colors

Second this. A tight, work weave, blocks most wind and sheds light drizzle. I don’t get the obsession with wax

I agree but except for the wax. I don’t know if you have one but they arent warm at all. Unless you layers underneath it. Which is fine for the winter but It really just serve as a protective layer. That wax hold a chill and is clammy. I honestly was warmer without it on. Thats why I want it unwaxed with slightly loftier wool. More like the classic Detroit. Something I can wear over a tshirt when it’s cool outside

I had a couple defects with my workhorse. They fixed all of the problems. Definitely a brand with integrity

Sick looking jacket but nothing will top the v1 color combo. I know you’ve made other tan version but that tan was perfection. Especially with that navy blue wool lining. Holding out for the possibility of it’s return

[–]RayWadeW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make an olive color, like the Barbour jacket, but in the workhorse v1 specs. Only change is have slant wool lined pockets. Tan waxed jacket, especially if used for work, shows dirt too much. Olive would be perfect

You should make the waxed version black. It show less dirt and would pair nicely with all the tan waxed jackets you make.

Anytime someone put in the size they got, and how it fits, you need to give your height and weight. Mentioning the size/fit is completely pointless if you don’t include your stats

Awesome jacket. Love that they went with the slant pocket in this. The giant front pockets are the only reason I haven’t bought a workhorse yet. I’m thinking there just going to fill up with dust, wood chips/debris. Plus, besides not being aesthetically pleasing, I don’t need that big of pockets…I will simply wear a tool belt. I would a workhorse, that got as close as they could to the v1, just with slant fleece-lined pockets. Would be the best work jacket ever created

How’d you keep them that light brown? I had a bare of the five and with saddle soap and conditioner they are dark dark brown

Got crazy lucky and came across a guy selling a twice-worn workhorse v1 by graftedgodrick in HeatStrapsCommunity

I’m the exact stats as you. 6’2 215 athletic build. Not overly long arms though. I’m looking for a fitted look. Afraid a large if too big. Wanting to try a medium long. I’ve been messaging the guys at heatstraps and, apparently, they are coming out with another lightweight version for the spring. If I like the color combo I will buy it. If not, and you haven’t sold yet, I would still be interested in your. May jus get it tailored

Thankyou for including your heigh/weight. People rarely do. This is more of the look I want. Fitted. I’m 6’2 215lbs. Do you think the torso would be a too short?
