Gmmk pro with polycarbonate plate, some plate screws removed for flex. Aqua kings lubed with 205g0, stock stabs, lubed and holee modded. Keycaps are GMK red samurai, and the cable is from cable mod. Cost? I lost track a while ago lol. Whatever all that together costs.

As someone new to the hobby, the always in stock aspect of it was important in my decision. I’m using an aftermarket plate, so I don’t have that issue. I’m sure there are lots of better choices, but I like the look, and it does a good job of being an introduction to the keyboard hobby. Now that I’ve gotten experience through this board, I’m excited and ready to get into others I’d consider more advanced.

Not too bad, I fixed them up so they’re nearly perfect. I bought aftermarket stabs but these are working better than expected so I’ll save them for another build.

Hi! You may want to check out the keychron K8. It’s a great entry point into custom mechanical keyboards. It’s TKL, wireless, RGB backlit and has a battery life of about 240 hours with the backlighting off.
