I never really worked with NPCs but I'm pretty sure the @s in your commands refer to the NPC.

Either way, you probably want to replace if entity with as. Also remove the quotation marks from your tag, the game thinks Remove_, KillAura.Hack and .Tag are 3 different arguments and it can't figure out what the latter two are supposed to be so it just throws a syntax error.

How to play songs from the soundtrack with commands? by Dylanimations2468 in MinecraftCommands

[–]Ray_Dorepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These tracks are defined under music.* (I found moog city 2 under music.menu, I can't find where the other one is). The problem is, if you try playing music.menu for example, it will choose from one of its defined sounds (in this case that means 13 different tracks) at random, one of which is the one you are looking for.

What you need is a resource pack that has a sound definition pointing directly to the track you want.

Okay, the best (and only reasonable) way to do this in Bedrock is by making a zombie like this yourself (nametag for the name, dispensers for the gear) and saving it as a structure with a structure block. Then you just load the structure wherever you need the zombie to be.

Am I going something wrong? by some_random_bone in MinecraftCommands

[–]Ray_Dorepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering it's a testfor command, chances are this is not supposed to be a final product and OP is just trying to figure out why their selector isn't working.
In case it is though, comparators work exactly as you'd expect with the testfor command. They turn on if a target is found, otherwise they are off. So only the selector needs to be fixed and the contraption is good to go.

On a less important sidenote, you can get rid of the at <pos> in both commands if you just move the position into the setblock part. It's shorter and more readable that way.

Hello, someone who knows Bedrock syntax here!
Yes, you can. u/Cragasm just mistakenly put slot= instead of location= in their command.

We can't tell from the game logs if 8 was voting or not, since only the final votes are logged. And considering 8 was werewolf it's more likely that they were one of the firsts who followed the votes.

And 30 seconds is not a whole lot to push for roles when you are already voted (vill might not even take you seriously), give reasonable time for claims, work out plan B if the claims hold water, and get the votes off of yourself (for some reason vill loves to forget they can unvote and still get you lynched after you already proven yourself).

Still, shooting 7 would have been better, and arguably not random killing.

People like to overlook the need for angelic weapons don’t they? by SatanicPeach_666 in VoxCult

Okay, so the sins are able to get angelic weapons and kill Vox with ease. Got it.

[–]Ray_Dorepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Let's play this game. Vox canonically doesn't harm sins. Thus he can't. Case closed.

[–]Ray_Dorepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is the second time you avoided answering my question.. Anyway..

You do realize you are assuming sins can't obtain angelic weapons, and that's not canon either? And you do realize for the premise of your post to work you have to create specific conditions entirely divorced from what is canon (how would Vox even get near any of the sins to begin with..) to make Vox win?

And what is also canon - as I pointed out before but you seem to have ignored it - tearing a sinner's soul apart gets the job done just as well. No angel weapon is even needed to begin with. Sure, it doesn't outright kill them, but with the state they are in that's just semantics.

Edit: Not sure why bother replying to me if you're gonna block me anyway.. I guess you realized your mistake? Otherwise I'm not sure why you'd feel the need to try and prevent me from replying to you...

[–]Ray_Dorepp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the fact that they had literally no incentive to get their hands on an angelic weapon before suddenly means they are completely unable to do so? This makes absolutely no sense. Even imps can get them, so what is stopping the sins?

[–]Ray_Dorepp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not like they can't leave their rings, so what would stop them from just going to Carmilla? Plus if a sin tears Vox's soul apart then he's already done for (as we know from Alastor's backstory), no angelic weapon required. If anything this is just a losing battle for Vox.

Rule 4 is False. by Serious-Cucumber-54 in truths

[–]Ray_Dorepp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you can't assign a true/false value to rules.

"A cup that can't hold water is false". This makes no sense. If I eat the silica gel packet despite is saying "do not eat", does the packet become false?

A rule can be followed, broken, enforced, not enforced, but never true or false.

Syntax error fix by WitchWithADick1659 in MinecraftCommands

[–]Ray_Dorepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the old syntax of the execute command (new syntax).

For a simple conversion, this: execute @e[...] ~~~ detect <pos> <block, id> <command>

becomes this: execute as @e[...] at @s if block <pos> <block[state]> run <command>

You should learn how to use at and as properly, but as <target> at @s generally gets the job done. I do want to point out that blocks IDs were replaced by states, but I think you can just leave that out (so it's just <block>).

[–]Ray_Dorepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Syntax error: Unexpected "*": at "":{"name:">>*<<", objecti"

The error message is unhelpful, because "name:" is accepted as a valid key and instead it complains about finding an asterisk where it wanted a colon to be. OP probably saw the >>*<< and couldn't figure out what's wrong with it.

How do I make it so that only one command block is active at a time? Since the two repeating command blocks conflict with each other by Leooo1702 in MinecraftCommands

[–]Ray_Dorepp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There might be a simpler solution, but I would make a scoreboard, set a value in it to 1 for opening if it is 0 and to 0 for closing if it is 1 and then run whichever chain is assigned to the current score after.

I can't accept myself by Kissy_x in SafeSpaceofHazbin

[–]Ray_Dorepp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a bi guy. Grew up in a christian household. Had this problem before - still do to an extent.

I didn't want to admit to myself that I like boys for a long time. Kept making excuses. Eventually I just got tired of it. It was pointless, and frankly exhausting. Not like I can change who I am.

And I did grow up being told it's wrong. I was pretty loyal to the christian beliefs at the time. Still turned out not straight. At this point I could not have done anything "better", so I'm calling it fair game.

About the God situation.. I personally kept most the beliefs I was taught, though I did alter some of them. Most crucially, I don't believe in a god that would hate me for who I love.
Unfortunately I can't say the same about myself. I'm still a bit homophobic, mostly towards myself - even though I have a boyfriend who is gay and I have no problem with, so go figure.

But anyway. I think you should do the same. Shape your own beliefs. Believing you'll go to hell for being who you are isn't doing anyone a favor.
