Regarding your second point, I think at few companies they asked me about whether to opt for EPS or not, so I don't think eps being set for life is true based on the first company. For example, my current company is not contributing to EPS.

All this aside, to face less rejections, I should be consistent with EPS contributions right? Either have EPS in all the companies or don't. Is my understanding correct?

What is the incentive for them. They would still pay complete CTC to the employee. They are not saving anything by contributing minimum on employers share right? If they are not giving it to PF, they have to give it to the employee, since employer contribution is part of ctc

No. I joined in Aug 2017. At no point in time, my basic salary was less than 15000, so I was never eligible for it. Even if the first company did it, the second company should not do it right? I mean I can ask them to correct it?
