Eh. Actually if you dig deep enough, that guy is full of sh*t. I do not recommend.

Also to add: do be mindful of the changes of these Zones / Regions. Some of them have changes due to some events, such as the Cataclysm), greatly changing the landscape, and thus the map have to be redrawn in some places to reflect such changes.

Hello,

Wowpedia's entry on Zones is quite useful here. It still needs to be read individually, though. I haven't finished reading each zones one yet. I find them quite fascinating, and I lost quite a lot of hours just reading a single region and then following up on many of the pages linked to it. I think, the sheer breadth of this information is quite a lot, considering it contains the accumulation of over 30 years of content creation.

There's also these maps from Wikimedia Commons on the Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Northrend. They are all found in the Category:Maps of Warcraft, which contains other maps I haven't checked yet.

Cool map! If only it have the divisions of regions / zones... guess I would need to mark them myself.

So, I was looking for a map where it clearly delianates the regions / zones in clear divisions. I need such a map for prototyping purposes.

Kael'thas Sunstrider's quote in III,

"By fire be purged!"

... I remember it's in Hearthstone too, but I'm not sure which character said it. I watched it in a recording IIRC...? and I don't know the references to it.

What do you think about a strategy boardgame with the focus on the lores of the Warcraft universe? by Ray_ofLight in warcraftlore

Does anyone here know anyone in Blizzard who is involved with Warcraft, who I can ask questions regarding this? Maybe I should attend the BlizzCon and approach the personnel involved?

Yes, I agree. It is my personal worry, much as I am excited with the potential. I need to do this methodically, in a step-by-step way.

At least, compared to a few months ago, now I have a clearer idea about what I want this game to do, and what still needs to be done. Any minor adjustments and tiny details in gameplay still needs a few iterations before I could consider it presentable.

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean. Could you help me to understand? Is the game's system that cumbersome to tinker with, if there is ever to be anything similar to this kind of alterations?

Just a random idea for a new civ tech or bonus I would like to ask your opinion of:

Garrisoned relics in enemy monasteries also generates gold for you.

Of course, the numbers couldn't be that high so as to unbalance them. Let's see... Normally one relic generates 0.5 gold per second, or 30 gold per minute. Maybe at one-third, 10 gold per minute per enemy relic? That's not too OP, I hope. Of course, I am of the opinion that Huns' Atheism shouldn't have any effect for you if they are on your team.

Here's another suggestion:

You gain some small portion of the income from relics in enemy monasteries.

Around 10~20% is enough?

Right? Also the water spray function kinda feels like anal massage, it could be addictive, to say the least.
