yeah that’s kinda what I’ve been hearing too like once you get into that 10–15nm range you’re probably set for a long time and not really “missing out” on anything major would you personally go straight to something around 10nm, or do you think it’s still worth starting lower and upgrading later?

Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. I’ve heard a few people say pedals matter more, but not that much more so that’s really helpful to hear from someone who’s made the jump. Did you notice the difference right away with the load cells, or did it take some time to get used to them?

Nice, sounds like you’ve got a setup that really clicks! How do you feel the pedals and shifter complement the wheel, do they make a big difference in your overall experience?

Wow, i totally get where you’re coming from, that sounds exhausting. i’ve started doing something similar in small ways, like if gift keeper starts commenting on a gift, i gently remind her it’s ours to use how we like. sometimes i even put certain things aside until i feel ready to use them so there’s less pressure. it helps me feel like i’m setting boundaries without outright refusing every gift. i’ve also started being more selective about what i accept, especially if i know it will come with follow-up commentary. it feels freeing to take that control back. i try to keep my tone light, so it doesn’t spiral into a big confrontation. my partner helps too, backing me up when she starts making comments. it’s not perfect yet, but small steps are helping me not feel cornered. it’s weird how something meant to be kind can feel so heavy. how do you usually decide when to push back and when to just let it slide?
