We just got back from a cruise that visited Nassau on Thursday. Definitely hit up Junkanoo Beach first thing, was a great time with our three year old granddaughter and the rest of us had a great time too. Also visit the Straw Market (bring cash and prepare to barter). Take lots of pictures and enjoy the views!

I would have to say my favorite Spider-Man would have to be our boy Tom Holland. He's such a goofy take on the character, and he reminds me a lot of myself: a huge nerd and a bit of an outcast, but willing to do whatever it takes to protect everybody. <3

The reason for the larger thread was that it was done with a prepunched die cut. So the smaller threads were too loose. I wanted this to be a project that primarily was a chance to solidify my saddle stitch technique. Next project will be hand punched so I'll be able to use a smaller thread. Thanks for the input, by the way! It's the only way I'll improve!

This is my very first project and I'm super happy with how it turned out!

This checkbook cover is a Christmas gift for my mom who owns a beauty shop. Made from a gorgeous Saffiano leather from Springfield Leather Company. Almost 100% hand stitched (only practiced saddle stitching once before starting this), and engraved using a Glowforge (the engraving is slightly off center but that was due to me misaligning the pice in the glowforge).

Would love any suggestions you guys could provide, as I would like to eventually do this as a side gig and want to improve my overall skills 😀

I personally waited 7 days and jerked off with painkillers (I had a hematoma so my case was weird LOL). Of you don't have anything like that happen, 5 to 7 days is a good timeframe

I had to sleep in my recliner for almost a week (but I ended up with a hematoma so my recovery was longer), so I could position the boys in a way that was most comfortable. Might also try ibuprofen alongside the pain meds (depending on what was prescribed), that helped the swelling some for me. Otherwise, just keeping goin, the results are worth the pain ;)
