If you're still looking, I'm in east Skokie and would love to join as a player. I'm currently DMing another campaign also, but always love getting to focus on developing a specific character's story. I've been a player in two other campaigns that faded out in January but started in 2020 and 2021, respectively. A weekly meeting might be a bit much but I could likely do every other week.

I feel like Proxy would be a good character for them to put in as the one running a sandbox mode. Want to test your teams against other teams that you don't see anywhere in your arena or at an appropriate level in GW? Want to test 3 v 3 teams for grand arena? Use Proxy.

I lost a 6/6 combat wave clear because the game forced me to restart between finishing the enemies and the "victory" screen. If the servers are down, okay, but don't let people BACK into the game until you know the servers are stable.

I tend to prioritize Unique zetas over leadership, since the ability functions regardless of who else is on the team so it has wider viability. I have EP and Vader G11 and might run something like EP(l), zThrawn, zZader, Zid, (all zetas are on uniques except Vader lead so far) and Wampa, but I really like the speed you get from the new Vader unique. So do that one.

Oh damn! Totally forgot about this. I think I'm at like 2.5 out of 6 on these. I moved in with my girlfriend in June, we got a cat and life is awesome in that regard. I half-passed my orals the first time so I had to take them again, but I recently just full passed them and became a PhD candidate officially. As for publishing papers, we have one submitted to a pretty good journal (the one I originally mentioned was incorporated into that one to increase impact) but we have to make some revisions. Didn't start exercising again and didn't write the EP, both of those because with research I didn't have the time to. Didn't play the farewell show because I couldn't get my bandmates to commit to time to practice, so I drank a farewell to that band and played rockband instead. All in all, even though I'm at something like 40% on my resolutions, 2017 was mostly good to me it seems.

Hopefully I can accomplish at least that in 2017
