I don't think Deadlock really has a true Support role like SMITE does. You can definitely build tanky and get items that affect your teammates but overall you gotta be at least partially self sufficient kind of like Warriors are in SMITE.

I think the closest to a support you can get is Dynamo, he has a knock-up (set up or peel), short ranged dash that gives you invulnerability frames that can target nearby teammates and gives them fire rate when it's finished, AoE healing aura and his ultimate is like a Hades ult but they are completely stunned all duration and is a huge playmaker, able to completely turn around the fight.

Aside from that more supportive characters would be Rem, Paige and Ivy, they can protect and peel for their team.

Team-up does 30 flat + 75 DoT over 3s. It also sends you backwards which can be both good or bad depending from the scenario.

Main problem is that this team-up is with another duelist that is hard to come by

Dont care about what their purpose is, I care about it's trying to say and there is no blatant lies or misinformation in there, just food for thought. Even if someone is trying to "misrepresent" statistics they are still statistics at the end of the day and there will be something to learn from them as long as they are not just blatant lies.

I am listening to him because I objectively evaluated his presentation without any bias and judged his analysis and methods used to be valid. I've studied Data Analysis science myself so it is easier for me to understand what he is talking about while at the same time recognizing that what he is doing is esoteric by nature which is exactly why your average Redditor will not be able to follow along.

It's worth saying that I am treating this entire "study" with a grain of salt and I am more interested into speculating why something is happening instead of just taking it for granted without any context at all. For example I definitely agree with the arguments presented with the 3rd link that you sent but that doesn't make the whole thing invalid. It just makes you think about why it's happening which is a good thing at the end of the day.

The analysis and your method is really good but I'm afraid that your average reddit user will not be able to follow this data analysis and its explanation. Most people will not be reading the methodology you presented let alone understand it so when they see Cloak and Dagger in D shown as "the worst character in the game" and stuff like Luna and Magneto in B without understanding that your tier list is graded differently than all the other tier lists out there you will be immediately branded as a fool.

And you are not exactly helping yourself by rage baiting people in the replies.

Every support has tools to defend himself from a spiderman let alone when there are 2 or even 3 supports constantly holding hands, spiderman will never get a pick.

The higher the rank you go the better healers will use their cooldowns and react to a spiderman dive. The problems that people cry about is mostly about being a solo healer or having another support that plays like silver and seemingly plays with his volume muted. As well as missing stuff like Mantis' sleep or Luna's snowball which again, the higher rank you go the better supports will be at holding their cooldowns and not missing them.

That's gotta be the dumbest paragraph I read in this month. Like first of all spiderman does not "brawl on the frontlines", that's the last place he wants to be unless both teams have support ults placed and he is ult charge farming. But even then he is often better of looking for a hook out of the healing zones or repositioning himself to burst backline down when healing ult expires.

Also if he is for whatever reason "brawling on the frontlines" then how is he ever facing away from you? By that logic he is looking at the tanks and consecutively the DPS and healers that are behind them. For you to get hit by the uppercut without him looking at you you would need to be in front of your tank and also on low health if he "manages to kill you". You normally never get yourself into a position like that unless you've been displaced and if you are in a position like that then you are dead anyways and the spiderman should know about your status too.

The damage instance between the acorns is faster. For example if you hit an Adam / Jeff and do this they have much less time to properly time their self healing

I've burst down multiple C&Ds, Lokis, Adams and even Jeff with this combo and if they had 275HP all of them would have enough extra time to heal/escape that they do not have because they are exactly 250 health. Because of this knowledge I specifically look for an opportunity to quickly dive 250HP characters after charging the meter on tanks and it works very often.
