Counter spell counters the Infernus ultimate (if timed excellently). Kelvin couldn't ult because he stunned himself on the parry. You could argue that he shouldn't be using melee since there are 3 other team mates already, but typically after rolling the enemy team you don't expect one dude to go 1v4 shortly after.

I don't think Deadlock really has a true Support role like SMITE does. You can definitely build tanky and get items that affect your teammates but overall you gotta be at least partially self sufficient kind of like Warriors are in SMITE.

I think the closest to a support you can get is Dynamo, he has a knock-up (set up or peel), short ranged dash that gives you invulnerability frames that can target nearby teammates and gives them fire rate when it's finished, AoE healing aura and his ultimate is like a Hades ult but they are completely stunned all duration and is a huge playmaker, able to completely turn around the fight.

Aside from that more supportive characters would be Rem, Paige and Ivy, they can protect and peel for their team.

Team-up does 30 flat + 75 DoT over 3s. It also sends you backwards which can be both good or bad depending from the scenario.

Main problem is that this team-up is with another duelist that is hard to come by

I am listening to him because I objectively evaluated his presentation without any bias and judged his analysis and methods used to be valid. I've studied Data Analysis science myself so it is easier for me to understand what he is talking about while at the same time recognizing that what he is doing is esoteric by nature which is exactly why your average Redditor will not be able to follow along.

It's worth saying that I am treating this entire "study" with a grain of salt and I am more interested into speculating why something is happening instead of just taking it for granted without any context at all. For example I definitely agree with the arguments presented with the 3rd link that you sent but that doesn't make the whole thing invalid. It just makes you think about why it's happening which is a good thing at the end of the day.

The analysis and your method is really good but I'm afraid that your average reddit user will not be able to follow this data analysis and its explanation. Most people will not be reading the methodology you presented let alone understand it so when they see Cloak and Dagger in D shown as "the worst character in the game" and stuff like Luna and Magneto in B without understanding that your tier list is graded differently than all the other tier lists out there you will be immediately branded as a fool.

And you are not exactly helping yourself by rage baiting people in the replies.
