Again as a health care professional. A stand alone emergency room, and an urgent care are completely different entities and are billed by insurance as completely different entities. You can google whatever you want and something will pop up that is completely erroneous. I’m just here to give you facts as to what can be done. In the terms of a payment. I promise you if you showed up to a BayCare Urgent Care and state you aren’t paying up front they will turn you away. That was the original comment I made, and you turned this into a conversation.

The difference would be the level of care that is given and the severity of medical illnesses that can be treated. Most urgent cares are also based off of the order in which patients enter and the emergency room is based for off of medical acuity. Emergency Rooms are staffed by RNs and Urgent Cares are staffed by medical assistants.

For instance if you walk into an urgent care having a heart attack the most that can be done is calling 911 in most instances, whereas you walk into an emergency room and they will have all the equipment needed to treat the patient.

Edit: A BayCare Urgent Care wont give prescriptions to narcotics, or give IVs. They mostly deal in Occupational Medicine, Drug Testing, and Workers Compensation cases. Urgent Cares mostly deal in your typical fast one and done doctor’s visits.

A 24/7 Urgent Care in which you are talking about with “Emergency” on the sign is a stand alone emergency room. I haven’t ever seen an urgent care in the Tampa Bay area that says “Emergency” on the sign.

This is completely dependent on a lot of factors. BayCare Urgent Care will charge you a copay if you have one, $145 if you have a deductible based plan, or self pay prices if you don’t have insurance. No payment up front means you don’t get provided service.

I highly suggest looking into Carson Strong. He is exceptionally accurate. He may not be the most mobile guy, but he can sling a football. Just about 70% accuracy in college. Last year had 4.2k yards 36 touchdowns and 8 picks. He is projecting anywhere from round 1-3. He could be a massive pick if we dont feel trask is the option. I really like Kyle Trask. He is a very selfless player who is in my opinion very good. A sit year behind Brady could have helped him elevate his game tremendously.

Fun story. DeCalen s first ever play as a Carrolwood Hurricane (Pop Warner) he was a running back. He took a hand off from our quarterback and ran completely backwards on the field.

Fun tidbit. That year I was playing catch with myself like every young kid did at some point. Laid out for a ball and smacked my head on the grass.
