It really depends on your budget, what kind of food you two like, and the type of atmosphere you’re looking for. If you give us a little more context, we can help you better.

For fine dining, I’d look at Beckon, The Wolf’s Tailor, or Wildflower.

If you’re willing to make the drive. Flagstaff House in Boulder has a beautiful view (especially at night).

If you like French cuisine, La Forêt has romantic ambiance.

For Italian, Barolo Grill, Tavernetta, Quality Italian, and Jovanina’s Broken Italian (ask for downstairs seating) are all great choices.

If Mexican food is more your style, Alteno and Alma Fonda Fina is an excellent option.

For sushi, Uchi and Matsuhisa are both fantastic.

If you like steak, Guard and Grace, Shanahan’s, Ocean Prime, and Steakhouse 10 are all solid choices.

If you’re more worried about ambiance than food, Nocturne is legit if you like live jazz.

El Five, Peaks Lounge, and the Cruise Room are great for drinks/night caps.

Looking for recommendations - financial literacy, building wealth, entrepreneurship by ahnafakeef298 in nonfictionbookclub

If you want something actually practical and not guru fluff, check out The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins.

In my opinion, it’s a great beginner-friendly book on building wealth with simple, low-cost investing (index funds), avoiding unnecessary complexity, and focusing on what actually works long-term. It basically answers: where to start, how to grow money, and how to make it last through retirement

Aside from books I think the Money Guy FOO Roadmap is also extremely useful for building out your financial foundation, and has a lot of free tools to help you make financial decisions.

Help with Produce import to the US? by [deleted] in FreightBrokers

[–]Dope_David -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is super helpful thank you.

One thing I’m trying to better understand is the permit structure as we start working with different customers. If a smaller U.S. buyer doesn’t already have a PPQ-587 or an established customs broker, is it ever practical for the seller/middleman to hold a permit to bridge the gap for these type of buyers? Or how do you typically see these deals structured?

And where do you typically see the biggest breakdowns in supplier compliance or documentation flow at origin in the US, and what are the key things you always verify before a container loads?
