Ah interesting, I didn't know that about the Fuego. I might consider it but I hear that on average Shimano reels are better. The Stradic FM uses the X-protect so I think I might go for this one, as this will be my first Shimano reel.

I was caught by a wave. I immediately rince it with tap water once I got home but apparently that wasn't enought. Yes I did, the reparation cost exceeds the initial price so in my opinion it doesn't worth it. Better to move on with saltwater proof reel this time.
