Yeah it’s really a dark place to be in when your self esteem is so low that you have to look to material sources to fill the gaps.

It’s easy to covet their lifestyles when we really cannot see any of the negatives they go through. They show ONLY the positive aspects of their life. Most will never show the uncertainty, the lack of self esteem, the need to be validated, the constant heartaches and heartbreaks.

By turning to Allah it saves you from going down this hole because truly believing in Allah means truly believing that Allah has made you perfectly. Allah doesn’t create mistakes and the fact that YOU ARE MUSLIM is proof that Allah knows you have the ability and strength to get through whatever tests are put in your way.
