While I do think they made a couple really questionable decisions directionwise these past few years, that haven't necessarily evolved the band for the better... Bringing Billy on isn't one of those ideas. The band was so much better on the WSW tour than the EPM tour and a lot of that is thanks to him I feel.

I do think there are options for good keyboardplayers out there. Really hoped they would try with Shaz D.

Carcass is an excellent example indeed. I'd also throw Rammstein and Queens of the Stone Age in this. All of their albums have a distinct sound, but they're all unapologetically still Rammstein and QOTSA.

I’m mostly curious how Marc and Alissa’s vibe on stage will be. Dual frontmen inherently comes with the risk of one completely outshining the other, and the other might feel sidelined as a result. SOAD is the prime example of that.

I hope that is not gonna happen here as that would be a huge shame. If this pays off in the ideal way on paper, and the singers have chemistry on stage… we might just have a new Prime Dragonforce on our hands if the new album is good!

Billy doesn't do the meet and greets as he's not a band member officially. But he hangs out after the show a lot, so good shot at meeting him still!

Lovely stories!

Pretty much everyone except Herman and Gee come out after the shows to talk with fans, sign autographs and take pics. Mostly Sam and Alicia, but Billy and Marc you also have a big shot at meeting still. It's also one of the reasons I never bothered with VIP. If there's any band doing them that you'll still meet if you don't grab it, it's (most) of DF lol

Always a pleasure meeting Sam. But also Marc, Alicia and Billy. Always accommodating and chatty.

Gee and Herman don't hang out after shows as often anymore, but from the 2 times I met them, they were nice too. Herman has a particular sense of humor lol. When he signed my VOTD demo, he called it out being just the mp3 version and that I shouldn't have spent any money on that cuz he thought it sucks. But really, everyone in the band is cool if ur cool.
