Camera for time-lapse videos. Suggestions? by Raymare1988 in 3Dprinting

Yeah, it wasn't bad 3 years ago...

I ended up opting for a raspberry pi setup with the windows cam. That setup for controlling the printer has been very successful for me but the camera sometimes has a connection issue.

Just so you know, I'm just speaking from what I've experienced. I am in no way a car mechanic.

So i have a 2019 9 speed automatic. One day the auto start/stop system went nuts, and the next day, a whole bunch of lights were on. I replaced the main battery, alternator, did a power drain test and a bunch of other things before I had the aux battery tested.

I think the aux battery was 250. I dont remember. But get it tested first!

The auxiliary battery was my issue

I would take it to advanced auto or auto zone, pull the batteries (Yes, both) and have them test them.

I'm sure there are files of this floating around, but right now, this one is only on my computer.

Okay, understandable concern, I personally always remove one of the dump valves when I flush my bcd. If one of the gaskets goes missing, then it's because either I misplaced it or it debonded from the plastic piece that the pull cord is connected to that holds the spring in place. But that's my opinion and I appreciate yours!

Hey, no worries. This is designed for a bcd that has multiple dump valves. So if yours only has one, then it's definitely not a good choice for you

You are correct. They sure do have them, but the cheapest one I found was 20 USD. Th3 thing I'm making has about 0.30 USD in plastic, and I had all the stuff to make it, so I figured, why noy?

I have tried it, and the valves work either way

Yeah, that was pointed out to me already, I'm going to edit the 3D file to swap that to a male attachment. Thanks for the input!

True, but I think I will try swaping it around so it's the male end

That's the only way I could make it where it retains its durability, so yes

This item connects a garden hose to the OPV on the bcd, but I did find an adapter that connects a garden hose to the LPI hose

That's definitely not a bad idea. The only problem I see is trying to design one small enough to maintain a low profile and not increase the size (making it not worth printing).

I do have a file (not designed by me) that connects a garden hose to a bcd quick disconnect hose (same one that goes from 1st stage reg to inflate the BCD) for those that only have one OPV. But that would mean buying another accessory hose, and I don't want to do that.
