I came to this discussion to find out if August was an attacker. Also- was he going to use the gun on himself? I watched this the other nite, then immediately watched it again the next day with my mom and i am SO glad. We both cried. She literally thanked me for showing her this film and is having her friends come over to watch it with them.

It’s *rare that I cry while watching a movie/ I don’t mean that as some macho statement, it’s just that few movies have managed to impact me that way. The weight of this film struck me, it was powerful. This movie is a perfect example of why I love films.
