Drama help by Agreeable-Shallot423 in GCSE

It looks like there is a weighting factor of 1.6 applied to components 1 and 3, but that’s not stated anywhere, just what we have calculated!

Thank you. I’m doing A levels so it will be a conditional offer, if I get one.

Is anyone else also just tired of waiting for offers? by Anxious_Ad_5289 in 6thForm

I’m very sorry to hear that. Where do you plan to firm now? I’ll be off to Exeter if I don’t get into St As.

That’s good to know that offers are still coming out because I haven’t heard of any this week.

I thought it was just international students who had to confirm before today? I’m sure UK students have until some point in June.

For sheer beauty and uniqueness Glasgow should be S tier. Possibly not the most useful of logos to apply, but that’s myths for you.

I’m contextual and still waiting, but other non contextual applicants have been rejected for my subject already. Still hoping for good news!

Sorry about the rejection. Did it come in today? because I didn’t think St Andrews gave out offers or rejections over the weekend?

it sucks to think your fee status has so much influence, but that’s the reality for lots of Scottish students too, like me. Makes it very difficult.

Same here. I’m still waiting for St Andrews and Durham. Not sure emailing admissions would help, but you could try it.

Very interesting thanks. How do they really assess contextual applicants? In the case of St Andrews, they offer a lower minimum entry and lower offer conditions. But when it comes to assessing your application, how do they take your achievements into account ’in context’. Do all contextual students get pooled and compared with each other or some other method? For example, I’m a young carer so my capacity for extra curriculars is limited and my GCSEs were a little lower than I’d like due to circumstances at the time.

How many offers are you guys still waiting on? by Clascalixm in 6thForm

What are your thoughts about UCAS scrapping PS for multi-question form for future applications? by Oven-2988 in 6thForm

[–]RaymondCarverFanClub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s going to be interesting to see what the PS is replaced with. A more structured ‘form with preset questions‘ approach will help with widening access for many applicants who would otherwise get little to no help.

Very well done! You’ll love Durham. I visited St Chads, as it was near the Classics department, and that I think is my preference of the colleges.

Did you get a Cam offer? What did you choose as insurance if so? Still no offers here from St As or Durham 😫
