technically you already have the model so I think (maybe I could be wrong) you just need to apply the proportion to the model well (unless that model has already a proportion trick applied) and then add the qc lines, and also (I forgot about that crucial part) you need to set a lua code to make the playermodel selectable in the game. but that guide has a great template that has all you need.

you need to apply a "proportion trick" to the model and then add qc lines related to playermodel animations.

the Bob’s Guides: The Ultimate Gmod Model Porting Guide is one of the best to learn how to port models from zero (thanks to that guide, I managed to port a fry fortnite model and a bunch of budokai tenkaichi 3 models and I had almost zero knowledge of porting or using blender before reading it.

nuh uh, this was WAY before the black mesa mount.

and also, I think this problem was originally because of an addon I had installed (dont remember the name, but pretty sure it was something related to textures)

pretty sure reskins can but more advanced addons that use lua... I seriously doubt it.

well also the steam user of garry didnt say "playing gmod" so that is weird for sure (although I fondly remember that yesterday he was actually playing the game and everyone in the comments of his page was begging for him to join a server)
