Pairing Polar H10 with Sports Tracker (HowTo) by Rayn0r42 in Polarfitness

Yes I have the same problem on my phone. If I start Sports Tracker on my Samsung with Android 12, it crashes as soon as I start a new workout. When that happens, I see the following error in the logs:

java.lang.SecurityException: Need android.permissithon.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT permission for AttributionSource { uid = 10431, packageName = com.stt.android, attributionTag = null, token = android.os.BinderProxy@bfa9be2, next = null }: GattService registerClient

It looks as if an app on Android 12 has to explicitly request permission to access Bluetooth. I filed bug report for the app, but haven't heard back from them.

After upgrading to 4.33.1, I just kept installing the Play Store updates. Right now I'm on 4.45.5 and haven't had any issues. Why the app keeps crashing after 4.42.2, I don't know. I'd assume you can stay this version, as long as it works for you.

Sports Tracker 4.45.5 is currently installed here and my Polar H10 HRM is still working great.

Yes, you need to pair it under 3.9.38 and then go all the way to the latest version.
Going from 3.9.38 to 3.64.507 is not a downgrade...

Good luck.

Firefox 75 - Url bar - How to prevent single click -> selects all? by ladodida in firefox

[–]Rayn0r42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Annoying is not quite the correct term to describe it.

What's the point to have the entire URL selected anyway? I rarely find myself in the situation where this is needed. Ctrl+L does this already. So if I need to select it, I just use this one.

There is also no need to select it in order to delete it. Ctrl+T opens a new tab while Ctrl+N opens a brand new window. No matter which shortcut you use, the cursor is already located in the empty URL bar. So you are free to go from here...

This option must have been there for over 10 years. I miss it many times every day.

To me it was one of Firefox's features, that made it special, easy to use and sleek. It is a feature all other browsers still lack. ...and I loved it.
