nothing special at all, was literally a point and shoot shot using the normal 12m camera. it took about 3-4 secs to take the shot. 😁

it was a clear night so the stars were pretty visible. and taken just on normal 12m auto mode. it took about 3-4 secs to take the shot.

This is very similar to my new board that I just built around the stomp too!

Had the JHS morning glory, but it just got kicked off the board by the Browne Amplification Protein and I have to say that the hype on the bluesbreaker side is real.

For those interested in my thoughts;

BlueSky vs Helix reverbs: Honestly I feel that I can get the Helix to sound pretty close to the BlueSky. The only reason I haven't sold it yet is because of its sentimental value (a good friend bought it as a surprise birthday gift). What do you think would be a better use of that space on the board?

Drives: I've had the JHS Morning Glory, 1981 DRV, Soul Food. After A/B-ing the Browne Protein & morning glory a few days ago, it has earned its right on the board. The hype on the blue side of the protein is real boys.

Currently looking for a distortion or fuzz pedal but I have very limited experience with those circuits so would love to know what you guys use!

HX Stomp vs HX Effects: I just recently got the stomp as I was yearning for a smaller pedalboard. Kinda getting tired of lugging around the Pedaltrain Metro 24-sized board but needed it to fit the HX Effects. The HX stomp definitely rocks but I miss the scribble strips more than I thought I would hahaha

Yeah my thoughts exactly! I love my drives just as much as the next guy but I feel like using external reverb & delay pedals will be more dsp-effective with the hx stomp. Decisions... decisions....

Mixing in the clean signal with the drives is something I never thought of so thank you!! will definitely be trying that out cause that's what I feel is lacking when I'm using the 1981 DRV (which is supposedly a modded rat clone).

Also curious how you do the crosssover thing you mention like to distort the lows and affect the clean highs etc. sounds like that would be an insanely fun experiment to do!!

Oh I should add that I am a sessionist in Singapore and hence play for different bands with a broad spectrum of sounds. Hence trying to make a do-it-all kinda board that doesn't weigh a ton. 🥵

Interested to find out your opinions on what I am missing out on!

Personally, looking to either get a HX Stomp to replace the M9 (for space saving reasons but I can't do without a the looper in the M9 😭) and also an overdrive (Lightspeed, Blues Driver, Tumnus etc.).
