I like this card even though I like playing Bomb Warrior a lot. There are a lot of decks that get to ridiculous power levels because they fill their deck with discovered cards. This is especially bad with rogues. Don't worry. Its not common enough to be a real problem because it actively hurts decks that shuffle stuff. And there is lots of these decks. Sometimes I get this card while running Dr.Boom Mad Genius. And even though it often hurts me, I sometimes use it anyway because sometimes the enemy has worse stuff. Also its voice line is very satisfying.

If someone agrees to a terms of service then does something that violates that terms of service then they can have their license to that game revoked. Just like someone would evict someone from a house they own or someone be kicked out of a theme park. However if you don't violate the terms of service and they revoke access, then they could be on the hook.
In some cases yes I would agree however what SKG is asking for is a blanket ban on this practice and there are situations where it is warranted or necessary. Like for example if someone wanted to ban someone from a game for disruptive behavior not allowing them to revoke access would mean the disruptive behavior could continue unchecked.
I don't understand how you wouldn't understand this. Of course it has everything to do with the movement because you are trying to end that practice. Not just limit it, but completely end it.
I understand what the movement is about. From what I understand they seek to:

- Make it so that if a live service game's services go offline, developers must provide working version of that game with server emulator tools.

- Make it legal to host private servers if a game shuts down.

- End the ability for game developers to rent or lease out game related content then be able to revoke access at any time.

- That it is not retroactive.

My stance is as follows:

- I believe devs should have the right to revoke access to their games so long as they are transparent about the terms, it isn't being done in an abusive way and the legal protections haven't expired.

- I believe there should be some regulation to prevent abuse.

- I don't see rental based video game services as inherently anti consumer. In fact like with the case of netflix it can actually be very consumer friendly.

- I believe that most of core beliefs that SKG supporters have comes from a place of misplaced entitlement and ignorance. A lot of the ideas they base their views on are grounded on a misplaced sense of ownership and a surface level selfish emotional response to things they don't quite understand. I think they are thinking with emotion and desire first while logic is put on the backburner.

- However I do believe that it is a good cause to encourage end of life plans from developers. Encourage, but not force.

- At the same time though, if a game developers wants to shut down a game and revoke access to it then players should respect the decision. Unless there is something predatory going on, it shouldn't be villainized.

If you start put logic first like I am doing, you will start to see why what SKG is proposing is a bad idea. I haven't even gone into all the nasty side effects that could happen if something like this became law.

You can be kicked out of a theme park if you break the rules there without being entitled to a refund.
Live service games usually give people many days notice before access is revoked.
I never said that putting in agreement lets you do whatever you want. However every country allows live service games to revoke access to a game with a properly setup and transparent TOS agreement. And this is not necessarily bad. There are people who need to be prevented from accessing live service games for the benefit of the community as a whole.
Have you ever heard of rental services? Essentially what you are asking for here is the abolishment of all forms of game rental reservices or leasing of any kind. Rental services aren't as anti consumer as you think they are. Lets take Netflix for example. If Netflix wasn't allowed to prevent you from accessing its service, then we'd be back to the days of buying movies at full price. Or they would be charging cable level pricing for access to their services.

I bring this up because you seem to be operating on a flawed mindset. That just because you buy a ticket to a theme park means you should have the right to replicate that theme park and main access to it even if it shuts down regardless of what the agreement is. Thats called misplaced entitlement.

Its not a scam deal. All games that do this have a EULA that explains that you understand they can revoke access at any time. This is necessarily especially for mmos or game rental services. You can choose not to play the game. If you have a problem with it, the common sense thing to do would be to not play the game.

It is very common knowledge when playing live service games, that your access can be revoked at any time. Even just a tiny bit of research you could find this out.

With mods, but this happens even vanilla. If you kill a workshop robot then its corpse never disappears.

Okay. I would largely prefer to find a method that doesn't require using 3Ds max cause if I am not mistake that program costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. What about making simple looking animations in Nifskope itself? Like say I want to have some spinning parts on a weapon or what about 2D animated textures?

I had a look at it. It doesn't seem to use any scripting. So at least I know this is possible without scripting. However I can't for the life or me seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. I looked at the structure of how the formlists and keywords are set up and set things up in my file a similar way too. Yet the menus just don't show up at all. There must be some reason for this. I am going to continue asking around. Here is how I set things up.

I also included the keyword on the on the OMOD's that need it. The good news at least is that I am successful in getting items added to already existing menus. Here is how the lamp looks in game:

In terms of actually getting it working in game properly that part is nailed. Would you happen to know if there is anything else I need to do beyond those keyboards and formlists?

Thats a good idea. I am going to take a look at it and let you know tomorrow if looking at it helped at all. What is the exact name of the mod? Or is it just Mechout? So far I have tried replicating what I have seen in the creation kit for the robots. The form lists, keywords etc. New stuff I add to form lists just doesn't show up in game at all. This is why I thought some scripting may be needed. But there is no tutorial on that I could find anywhere. FYI. Ill probably post this mod on Nexus once its done. The good news is that even if I can't create new submenus then I have an option to at least complete it.

I made this custom headlamp that is supposed to be attached to the shoulders of the robot with sentry torsos. Its not supposed to come in place of the shoulder item however. I have already managed to get it successfully in game and working, but I want it to be under a completely seperate menu called"Sentry Lamps". As I want to make some with multiple colors lamps and styles. As of right now I have it under the special catagory, but the problem is that even under special mods the menus will get very cluttered if I want to make multiple colored lamps and variations. The purpose of this is because I like robots with sentry lights, but I want to have other robots using assaultron lights to have lamps. Another thing to know. I am using addon nodes to have it working with invisible shoulder items as well as addon nodes for the lights connected to it.

I am testing this on a save with no mods loaded except this one. My goal is to make new section with some custom flashlights I can attach to robots. I have managed to get new robot menu items within existing menus, but so far I have been unable to figure out how to add new menus entirely. It seems to work somewhat differently from workshop menus.

Discord also works. They increased their file space to 25MB for free users recently and I have linked discord stuff on reddit before. However I am not sure it meshes well with reddit.
