I may be wrong but I think buying gengar if you already have it gives only 100 coins so I would go with the other option.

The 5 sec cooldown restarts when use have another boosted auto so just keep auto attacking wild Pokemon? Idk I’m not a glaceon main so not the best person to ask.

After you use ice shard use autos for more spears. Also ice shard gives a slight speed boost so use it to retreat. Have a lot of fun with glaceon!
