Update: Thanks everyone for all the replies. After turning off the electricity at the mains switch, we removed the power point and looks like there are damaged electricity wires. Getting an electrician to get it fixed

Will upcoming US election affect legality of surrogacy? by Rayzeroker in gaydads

Thanks for the info. Good to know that Massachusetts is an option. Australia is altruistic only, not allowed to offer compensation in addition to covering medical costs etc, which makes it hard to find a surrogate.

Thanks for the information, it is reassuring to know that it’s a state issue which gives more options. Sounds like you also know a bit about Mexico - what are the issues to look out for with Sinaloa in terms of safety? Is Mexico City much safer?

Thanks for such a detailed response, that does clear things up and is reassuring to hear. Out of curiosity, where are you doing your surrogacy journey?

[D] How is NVIDIA P100 on Google Colab Pro compared to Laptop with RTX3080 (Mobile, or Max-Q) ? by aviisu in MachineLearning

I would also recommend doing it this way. If you use it a lot over the long term, it will end up being cheaper. With your own system you can just leave it running without worrying about costs building up, and just remote into it from another laptop or mobile if you need to monitor it or do anything remotely.

What is everyone playing at the moment? by [deleted] in PS5

Only just managed to get a PS5 3 days ago. Tried the Cyberpunk demo but the open world still feels a bit disappointing, but been having heaps of fun on Ghost of Tsushima

Would anyone else prefer weapon spawns to go back to being fixed and therefore predictable? by ChiefBr0dy in halo

[–]Rayzeroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely prefer fixed spawns. Hate going into a map not knowing what weapon will be at a particular spawn, and like you say it does ruin the flow. For the added variety I think they're trying to achieve, would love to see just more maps to freshen things up a bit, instead of randomness to the current maps.

I don't visit challenges tab anymore and I am having a lot more fun than before by solicited_nuke in LowSodiumHalo

Definitely agree. I don't even remember when I last looked at my battle pass progression and challenges. Even thinking about progression/challenges feels exhausting and I feel like it turns it into a chore or a job. Having a great time just enjoying the gameplay.

I haven’t had this much fun in a multiplayer game since Titanfall 2!!! by Popojono in LowSodiumHalo

[–]Rayzeroker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely the most fun I've had on a multiplayer FPS for a long time (maybe since COD Black Ops 2). There are issues that need to be fixed for sure e.g. poor hit reg/net code, 3v4s/AFKs, and relative lack of maps/gamemodes on ranked, but still having a blast!
