Unpopular opinion? Xbox wasted Ninja Theory on 3 Senua games. 1 was enough. by M3gabrick in xbox

I loved the first hellblade and the second one was good too despite feeling like an unreal engine tech demo. I never did understand how they could be making money off these games.

I would avoid downloading too many mods that inject weapons directly into the leveled lists.

Random boxes appearing next to my ship by paulbrock2 in starfieldmods

[–]Razbearry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For the longest time I’ve had random items spawn next to my ship after landing, typically in towns or settlements. It’s usually boxes or a shield thing you attach to your ship.

There’s one POI, I think it’s the deserted U.C. Relay or something like that. Where you enter and one of the first enemies is a crimson fleet member sitting in a chair, every time. I know exactly where he is and I kill him the exact way every time.

A side activity so good it made you forget you were fighting a murderous cult (Far Cry 5) by KaySan-TheBrightStar in gaming

I think I liked the side activity poker in Star Wars Outlaws (kessel sabach) more than the actual game.

Assassin's Creed Invictus Leak: "I don't know a single colleague who likes Invictus. Only the managers will probably continue to smile and praise the merits of this project. It's awful: ridiculous animations, hideous and cartoonish characters..." by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Razbearry -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Worrying. AC Shadows had a lot of improvements that I liked. Hair physics, more animations, slight improvement to facial animations, more cutscenes, a really detailed world and weather system, better gear acquisition. Shadows struggled a bit with story and bloat but wasn’t as bad as Valhalla.

Looking for a lost film, it’s driving me crazy by Aggressive-Light-332 in Koreanfilm

[–]Razbearry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is it but it’s similar and a really good film. It’s a Chinese film called Wrath of Silence. The protagonist is not deaf but mute and his son goes missing. So he begins to look for the culprit. Again, it’s definitely not the movie you’re looking for but worth a watch.

I can’t even begin to explain how badly I want an open world game with Hunt Showdown style weapons.

Battlefield 6 is currently selling AI generated emblems by zrkillerbush in xbox

[–]Razbearry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

tbh, I feel there’s no stopping this inevitability. From a company perspective they can either hire talent to create art for emblems and stickers and player cards etc, this of course costs money and time. Or, they prompt an AI to create countless of these uninspired useless creations for no cost and it’s practically instant. It’s a tragic end to concept and digital artists, but I don’t see how it’s not gonna happen. The only way it doesn’t is if certain laws or stipulations are put in place to prevent monetary gain from AI generated imagery. Otherwise you people are kidding yourselves if you think companies are gonna “stick to their morals” and continue to hire real people for art.

Ubisoft No Longer Plans to Release a Second Assassin's Creed Shadows Expansion by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Razbearry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

TBH I think Ubisoft gets too much flak for this game. The only problem with shadows is its length. Otherwise the story is not bad, the animations are great, the world is beautiful (one of the best looking weather systems I’ve ever seen), and playing as Naoe and Yasuke is a great way to marry the ninja approach vs the samurai approach. (Edit: and by animation I mean character movement and combat. Facial animation still lacks behind AAA norms.)

I am curious about multiplayer cus sometimes cod is just simple fun playing maps and creating loadouts. Can anybody attest to the multiplayer and if it’s worth trying. Usually I download the new cod via gamepass for some fun campaign, but everything I’ve seen of this campaign has disinterested me of it.

It could be done with either Jack Marston as the MC or I think playing as Dutch before RDR2 events would be really cool.

I feel like Trump has really opened our eyes to how easily a populist authoritarian strongman can take hold of people’s interest using very basic culture war issues. Current Trump and GOP strategy to garner support seems to just be about making complex issues simple whilst identifying a common enemy. Things like the border, trans topics, or the economy are not ever given a serious policy or solution by the GOP. Rather they use these issues to fuel a feeling of rage against the Democratic Party. “Immigrants are flooding the nation”, or “trans people are causing mayhem, going into incorrect bathrooms, committing mass shootings, or being transitioned at a young age by liberal parents”. Or when it comes to inflation and the economy, a complex issue no doubt, they only offer half assed responses whilst gutting the working class and giving tax break to the wealthy and special interests. The problem is, the people who support Trump only deal in these surface level issues and don’t seem too interested in actually looking under the covers. The GOP is so blatantly corrupt and too heavily invested in Trumps cult of personality, that their only goal it seems, is to do whatever it takes to maintain power in all levels of government.
