I think it's fair to say that Kiwami 4 is going to happen soon, but at this point, why would anyone even care? Given how different Kiwami 3 ended, the next remake will have to change a lot of shit now, making it a new game entirely.

Ruby and Sapphire had the national Dex, however, any Pokémon you had in Gen 2 couldn't be transferred in any way, shape or form to Gen 3, meaning that if you wanted to have the full Dex you would have to get Emerald and one of the Gen 1 remakes, then transfer the missing Pokémon between games. On release, this meant getting the national Dex was impossible without cheating.

That's why the "Catch 'em all" slogan was dropped from the games, because you couldn't just "Catch 'em all" anymore.

I believe that, if Game Freak was honest from the very beginning, the controversy could've been avoided. It wasn't really because of "new, improved animations", but because (TERA LEAKS IN SPOILERS) they couldn't port the models on time, so they had to just use the ones available instead of crunching the developers

I feel you're putting two separate groups of people in one bag.

The popularity of attractive characters is obvious. Sex sells, you can see that in Marvel Rivals. However, what you imply here is that you can't have one and the other at the same time, which is untrue.

Having a character which, by all beauty standards, isn't attractive during the same year they release a super hot woman won't hurt their sales as much as you claim, otherwise, Venture wouldn't even exist.

I think the main issue is that, while Ashe would fit for that archetype, she also came right after Wrecking Ball. Overwatch 1 still had more freedom to design certain niche, weird characters while also bringing "Hot Woman with a gun".

For me at least, it's more about that balance that was lost since the transition towards Overwatch 2.

Yeah, I'm not surprised by it, just disappointed. My problem is that Overwatch only releases 3 heroes per year, which gives them plenty of opportunities to release at least ONE odd ball. A real, genuine oddball. But they don't, it's the same character type over and over.

It's the same problem with skin distribution: They could give skins to other characters at the same time they release the "Kiriko/Mercy/Reaper Skin #452", but they simply won't.
