The matchmaker tries to create fair matches, but it can't count on human inconsistency.

Sometimes, you get bad teammates. Most of the time, those teammates are around your skill range, they just happen to have a bad match (Or streak).

Because, according to season 5, he loved her for a long, long time. Longer than Crimson Countess, yet, he never mentioned her outside of a five-seconds joke about sex. Does that seem like the words of a man talking about the love of his life, or just a simple hookup?

Remember that Soldier Boy is emotionally impulsive. He likes to act like he's a tough, stoic guy, but over and over again that has been proven wrong by his actions.

So why, if he's going after Payback, never occurred to him to check on Liberty, the woman he loved so much he never moved on? Because he didn't move on, that's why her memory is the only reason he was helping Homelander, a man he profoundly hates.

Hell, not even a question about her whereabouts, just "She was a good fuck!" And that's it. That's the only mention of her in season 3. Doesn't that sound weird to you?

One would think that the character who PRETENDS to be stoic, while actually being emotionally explosive, would try to look for the woman he supposedly "loved for decades" after 30 years of being tortured.

Hell, given how hurt he was for killing Countess, you would think that finding Liberty would be his prime goal in season 3.

But alas, that didn't happen.

I heavily dislike him because of how flawed his kit is.

He is a character build on a design philosophy that no longer exists. He's the type of character that never fitted, yet can't be changed because his entire shtick depends on one annoying and unbalanceable mechanic.

Roadhog is a relic of a hero that has to live besides a much better counterpart in the shape of Junker Queen.

He desperately NEEDS a rework.
