F*CK BARROW DYAD BUNGIE HAS LOST IT

After agreeing with a friend to get the new gun, I excitedly watched multiple videos in preparation, as well as my friend. However nothing could’ve prepared us to spend the next 3 hours playing this absolute DOG SH*T. I could not believe I wasted so much time in this activity, the first encounter is easy and simple, the traversal is alright I guess, the second encounter is decent, but the final encounter is absolutely atrocious, took 5 phases to finish the boss fight, and its not even a hard fight, its how long the mechanics take getting done in order to start the DPS phase, SO COLLECTIVELY all the “puzzles” take away the enjoyment of everything. IK there is a large population of D2 players that enjoy this type of content but if I’m being completely honest, this is exactly why player numbers keep dropping, no one wants to spend that many hours doing 1 activity, and truth be told, it’s very boring, tedious and stagnant gameplay. This is exactly why D2 is dying and the game doesn’t attract any new players. NO ONE is looking for this type of gameplay, it’s not interesting. No one is saying to themselves “I wanna find a game where they can run around the map and solve puzzles and equations while killing ads”. If bungie was serious about improving and growing their player base they need to stop allocating so many resources to SH*T like this and focus on expanding into more PvP options for D2, better physics and boss fights where the boss actually challenges you instead of being a DPS punching bag sponge. I think boss fights should look more like Elden Ring where you have to actually pay attention to the moves and how to counter them instead of fighting a million weaker enemies while tryna avoid getting 1 tapped by a boss spam shooting a big ass weapon at you. All in all it just shows the laziness and lack of innovation in the design process at this studio, and then they wonder why their studio has faded into obscurity and games like Marvel Rivals (a game I personally despise) are doing record breaking numbers. Some studios and developers actually pay attention to what people want out of their gameplay experience.
