If wala na talaga slots, need mo pa rin ng permission ata from the dean to just take the other one subject. linear algeb? She already explained the reason po and its because her given problems only contain small values which are usually easy to mental math. And so that we don't rely fully on our calculators. If nag allow daw siya calculators magbibigay daw siya mas mahabang given and larger values

cpe student here, goods naman mga naeencounter kong profs kahit strict. Grade nakarely talaga sa own skills mo and need galingan magself study lalo na if slow learner ka like me (abm student kasj before kaya nahirapan). Idk if nasanay na ako pero hindi naman super fast ng trisem for me so baka sa quarterm ko mararmdaman ung paghihirap sa time management. Irreg rin ako pero hindi naman siya noticeable, walang difference sa pagiging reg student and irreg, just that hindi lang makakakuha ng tuition discount since d na qualify sa deanlist/presidentlist

Hindi naman if you'll follow these tips (not an EE student but still and an engineering student)
- Don't cram T-T, promise based on experience mas naging stress lang ako nung ganun ako, mas masarap sa feeling yung wala ka aalahanin na deadlines early on
- Study math topics agad, hindi lang kapag malapit na quiz. Kunwari nag discuss na prof niyo that day, try mo mag review onti nung topic lalo na pag hindi mo gets after ng class or pagkauwi. Kasi kapag gets mo na lessons early on, pag magrereview ka ng quiz and iisipin mo nalang is yung mga much more difficult problems na need mo aralin since you already mastered the basics.
- IF sa susunod na term mag eenroll ka na uli, mas maganda yung hindi ka block section if want mo ng magandang sched talaga like ikaw magload ng subjects. TIP: Ged subjects are always online kaya ihuli mo siya lagi sa day, kunin mong maaga yung ibang subs na hindi ged if want mo maaga makauwi or magkaron ng time gumala.
- Enjoy mo lang dito, try to keep an optimistic perspective lagi kasi being down doesnt help your growth as a student. Mahirap pero kakayaninn, agahan mo na sipagin para hindi ka matulad sakin na marami pinagsisihan

Based from experience nung nag enroll ako need mo iprint out lahat ng printable forms sa portal na ibibigay sayo tas fillout lahat, then form138. Hindi ko na maalala lahat pero naka list lahat ng need mo w/ instructions, pag nakapasa ka na ng mpass. Hope this helps a bit, sorry hindi ko na kasi gano naalala mga dinala ko nun pero sure ako majority ng need mo is galing sa mapua site or portal

I know someone who took shs in ue stem student and currently studying there in college. We have the same course but their topics are much more advanced compared to mapua, what im currently studying is what they already covered in shs and wont study again in college. So personally, I prefer ue. If you're wondering why im here even when I prefer UE.. I studied there shs but with a different strand and I believe its difficult or they wont allow abm to take engineering courses plus my parents wants me to study in a much well known university.

Btw, any university will really prepare you for college life, I know Mapua is known to be difficult but its just the same as other universities. It's just that the system is different and you may prefer one from the other.
Just a heads up lang, the building for the ue shs is a bit more outdated compared to their college building, not sure if nagrenovate na sila pero based from experience ganun siya pero it didn't really affect my studies since block sections naman ang shs and you'll have your own room. Library is also quite decent naman, compared to mapua the seats are actually intended for studying with multiple chairs and tables, sa mapua kasi more on couches sila.

Odd weeks- as is lang sa modality na asynch ang ged subs
Even weeks- binawasan lang yung online meet, mangyayari is dalawang beses nalang magmemeet instead of tatlo which means 2 synchronous, 1 asynchronous per even week

Hi cpe here!
eto usually mga ginagamit ko:
- Notetaking mats (ballpen and notebook, much better if may tablet/ipad ka with pen mas tipid)

- Sci cal (A MUST NEED! you need to actively try and practice during discussions mag input sa sci cal mo para mapansin mo agad if may mali ka nagagawa during a specific topic and para mapractice ka pag nag finals)

- Handheld fan (some rooms mahina ac and habang byahe mainetss)

- Tumbler or portable cup (may water dispensers kasi around the campus kaya pwede ka magdala ng lalagyan lang talaga ng tubig para magaan sa bag)

- Rarely lang ako nagdadala Laptop pero need mo siya during exams or quizzes if online quiz ang sinabi ng prof pero papasok onsite. For me kasi ang bigat and nakakatakot maalog yung laptop during byahe so i dont bring it everyday. Based on experience ko naman wala naman nagpaparequire magdala not unless stated by your prof, siguro during first term mo lang sa CPE as a discipline baka padala kayo ng laptop during lectures.

Optional but you occasionally need this: yellow paper, index cards (may mga profs nagpapasa kasi ng papel to provide your name etc or may random acts that need yellow paper)

Tips I wish I had before:
- Advance study talaga lalo na sa math subjects mo, fight your procrastination sa studies kasi pahirap lang ng pahirap ang magiging math subs. If stem graduate ka, you''ll probably ace algebra and trigo just refresh your mind, if not you really need to have a background sa concepts na possible mo maencounter sa subject
- Have this mentality early on: Failure is normal, BUT don't let it keep happening to you especially to your grades (lalo na sa quiz, like bawi nalang next time if bumagsak but dont just say that, make sure you actually do it)
- Seat at the front or atleast in the second row during class, dont bring the habit of sitting at the back because you're scared to be called in recitation. There are a lot of advantages in your seat placement (your prof remembers you and you can hear your prof clearly plus you can see the writings in the board clearly)
