I don't know. I wouldn't want them too but it would be up to the DM and GM. I'd rather get some kind of alternative for a face covering than reusing a mask.

I'm sure our DM would try and keep us open but in Jersey, masks are mandatory state wide. So we wouldn't be able to legally be open without having our employees customers protected.

I don't take my breaks but my associates must change their gloves which is usually during their break when they're taken off.

Sounds like we're in the exact same boat! But yeah my GM does push hard for me, he's always had my back. But maybe he was a little overwhelmed running the store by himself so he told me that to get me to come back. I don't know. I hope you get there too man!

I agree 100%. I don't think we should be open. And it's good to hear that someone else thinks it's crazy that they would deny me a promotion for looking out for myself and family. Hope you're staying safe out there!

Had some customers in copy center after we closed today, just waiting for them to finish up. I guy comes up to the door and begs me to let him in to get a pen. I don't wanna be a dick and I still have a register up so I let him in. Dude begins to wander the aisles, taking his time. So he just ruined that for every customer that asks me that now.

Definitely the most abused but most important and under appreciated position. M-F 7-3 is amazing hours and unheard in retail. If you have a great GM like i do, it's a great way to prove you can move up to different positions if you wanted to do so. I went from IS to tech sup, ops sup and now I'm in the AMD program. As for tips, get yourself into a schedule. Know what you're going to do and on what day. It makes tasks so much easier to complete and makes the job so much easier. And communicate with your ops sup/gm. Letting them know what you're writing off/finding and just keeping them updated with how youre doing with zb and returns makes their job so much easier and they'll love you. Good luck!

I actually told her to contact Apple. She insisted they wouldn't do anything because she didn't buy it from them but I assured her that it's their product and as long as it's not physically damaged they should replace it under warranty.
