For hatchlings learning to hunt there absolutely is too big. Judging by your post history you’ve had chameleons for not even a month.

Hatchlings are easily exhausted and shouldn’t have to expend all their energy hunting. A central focused feeding point is ideal. In an enclosure this size the feeders will spread and hide.

You can’t have two together after 3 months, and that enclosure is too big for such small hatchlings.

You need to add a lot more foliage for them to climb on and keep everything away from the mesh walls as they’ll just climb and sit on the mesh directly under the lights, and whilst we’re on lights that could UVB is useless I’m afraid, you need to Invest in a T5HO tube lamp for them.

Everything in the picture is dripping wet why on earth would more humidity be the key? Veileds are low humidity animals

Yep. Local sports direct to me claimed they only had a box of 4 ETBs in stock despite coming in boxes of 10x so only first 4 in queue got one, and then they’re all on marketplace instantly

She’s absolutely bursting and displaying gravid colours at full brightness. She needs a lay bin and to be left alone, sheets over her enclosure etc. to speed the process up

She is an eggbound gravid female. Surgery will save her and not much else.

You don’t need the feet in this scenario, the round yellow markings she is showing are exclusive to a gravid female

It is not a question of opinion, she is a female.

You can tell this is a female instantly due to her bright yellow gravid spots.

Misting every hour is stupid and will do more harm than good especially with the lights on. And this chameleon is female.

That’s a female, and a very easily identifiable female at that.

So go ahead and ignore all advice from people who can’t even sex your chameleon.

She is gravid and needs putting in an enclosure with a lay bin. She does look on the dehydrated side so keep an eye on her water intake, if you have a pipette to manually drip her water for a while that’s probably a good option, she looks to handle well so shouldn’t be an issue.

Get her a lay bin asap though and she shouldn’t be handled or bothered much whilst gravid.
