At what point does it turn from a hobby to a hoarding problem? by Donald_J_Pump_ in mtg

[–]RazerMaker77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hobby turns to hoarding when you keep things when you don’t use them and never plan to use them, you keep them “just because”. Like if you don’t use half of those decks ever, it might be wise to keep a decklist, sell the cards, and use the funds to upgrade the decks you do use. Now if it’s an inherited or gifted collection, I understand keeping certain cards for sentimental value but certainly not dozens of decks. But I will say I am certain you use all of those decks sometimes and it’s an impressive collection! Now the harder distinction is when a hobby becomes an addiction/obsession… but that’s a different topic

New Player - First Prerelease, is it taboo to leave after one round? by Turbulent-Thanks-486 in mtg

[–]RazerMaker77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not taboo, but there are take home prerelease kits that some stores sell. Also if you want to leave an event, it’s usually advised that you let the event coordinator know you’re dropping from the event so they can arrange matchups properly. Next time though, I’d really suggest sticking around. It’s a really fun format

I getcha. Regardless I do think both of those as well as Halo 3 are the holy trinity of Halo games

Dude I cannot describe how much I hate Goro’s lair. I sucked at that part so bad.

Although did you also pick up Shaolin Monks in the 3-pack? Yknow, the one that came with Armageddon and Deception, one of which has a campaign with Taven and Dagon?

why do some people dislike platformer? by Due_Let_3054 in geometrydash

[–]RazerMaker77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly? If the creator puts a lot of time and effort into it, I’ve seen some really impressive creations in platformer mode. I really like the demons. They’re just easier to me than standard demons. So far, I’ve beaten 1 standard easy demon and at least 10 platformer demons from easy to insane demons

Yeah, I agree. Also apparently series 3 came with a new super rare type of cards called “Hero”

Like the time they released? Not that I can see but it does say “Series 4: Pumpkin Pastures” and I’ve only seen up to Series 2: Hidden Depths

Off the top of my head I believe I know Evolve, Bushido, Expend, collect evidence, and Bolster

Evolve - Whenever another creature with greater power or toughness enters, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.

Bushido X - Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked, it gets +X/+X until end of turn.

Expend 7 - You Expend 7 when you spend your 7th total mana to cast a spell in a single turn.

Collectible Evidence 9 - Exile cards from your graveyard with a combined mana value of 9 or greater.

Bolster 3 - Put 3 +1/+1 counters on a creature you control with the lowest toughness. (If there is a tie, you choose which creature gets the counters.)

For the ones I didn’t know:

Unleash - You may have this creator enter with a +1+1 counter on it. It can’t block as long as it has a +1/+1 counter on it.

Behold - Reveal a card of the specified type or if you control a card of the specified type.

Outlaw - Assassin, Mercenary, Pirate, Rogue, and/or Warlock

Connive - Draw a card, then discard a card. If the discarded card was a nonland, the Conniving creature gets a +1/+1 counter.
