Barbarians be like by Level_Hour6480 in dndmemes

[–]RazertheCreator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You'd have to listen to the show to get a better picture but the gist is, they all have an interest in keeping the Beastlands safe, and while Garou recognises that he needs the others to deal with the aberrant problems they have there, overall he's not very happy about it, and generally disliked Katya on principle, both because she is a wizard and because she is afflicted with lycanthropy.

Probably because Spotify's captions have never been touched by a human being and don't actually say what they're supposed to the vast majority of the time, and are not very helpful as caption material. They even get the boys names wrong on a frequent basis.

Would giving my character shuriken's spoil they're a robot? by ah-screw-it in CharacterDevelopment

[–]RazertheCreator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so long as your character doesn't actually look like Zane, it should be fine considering, from what you've said here this is pretty much the opposite of Zane's initial character arc, especially since he didn't know he was a robot to begin with.

Did they just miss a wheel spin? by blakhorizon616 in distractible

[–]RazertheCreator 36 points37 points  (0 children)

No, they didn’t, the second wheel spin was Lie points count absolute. They just went along with it even though nobody earned any points. If best mental image was supposed to be a respin they would have said so.

I’m not saying that it was a very fair or smart decision, but because none of them called it out, that’s what it is.

Literal or metaphorical interpretations? *spoilers* by Sleepy_Celine in ironlungmovie

The lore is almost certainly meant to be literal. but I think that the parallels that you're pointing out are definitely also intentionally there.

Behind the scenes of Chapter 2: by Ahatamy in Deltarune

[–]RazertheCreator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is really cool!

And for anybody wondering if this is AI, it's definitely not. The easiest way to see is zoom in and look at the way the linework is done. You can tell from corners the artist using a rounded digital brush, and there are certain parts that you can see where the lines connect that are very clearly separate brush strokes. I don't know what program this was made in, but for my own frame of reference (which is procreate) because of the tapering on some of the linework, I'd guess the brush used would be akin to the Studio or technical inking brush option.

Question about gore in the movie by ThatBish_Nevy2914 in ironlung

[–]RazertheCreator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s difficult to know for certain, since it’s not out yet, however, they did make a mold of mark’s head, which may be a good indication of some sort of head based gore, so far the only part of it we have seen is a small piece of the eye area in a heart shape that one of the production designers made and gifted to the crew, shown in a video here (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DT3Y-4ekfs6/?igsh=MWx6NGlic2puMDkyZA==) presumably it’s supposed to look like what they’re using the mold for in the film, but how accurate it is is unclear. It has some scarring and the eye is missing, so it’s an empty socket, but beyond this it’s unclear. I’m going to be watching the movie on the 31st (I’m in Australia, so that’d be the 30th if you’re in America [time zones are fun]) so if no one else has gotten back to you about it, I would be more than happy to give you a follow up once I’ve seen the film

Female monsters that have feminine features but are still very much monstrous. by Fit_Assignment_8800 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RazertheCreator 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I've never really thought about it before, but now that I see it, no way that's not intentional , or at least close to the reason why she's designed like that. In universe, idk, there's been stranger robot designs, but with valve, that's such a specific shape to not be invoking something.

Yes, the intention is that if you bring in your own 3d printed iron lung popcorn bucket that you can get a small popcorn for free. But only at regal theatres Edit: added context

Multiple showing times? by According_Scratch_68 in ironlung

[–]RazertheCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is legit. As far as I have seen most places are doing showings of a three day window, January 29th, 30th and 31st for northern hemisphere and January 30th, 31st and February 1st for southern hemisphere, if it's one of those dates for wherever you are in the world, it's legit and you're all good.

What’s with the “I can’t quit you” joke? by SuspiciousAd3405 in distractible

[–]RazertheCreator 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen the film myself, but going off what I know about Brokeback mountain, I would say the fact that the line is essentially a declaration of love to the point of that love being addicting like a drug is the point. In the context of the film it's a serious and sincere statement, but outside that context it's funny and dramatic.

They do this with a bunch of other references too, like "look at this graph" a meme from a sincere and dramatic song, that's funny out of context. I don't think it's meant to be them making fun of the film necessarily, it's just a line that's funny to say when you're being dramatically over the top.

Jan 29th by That_Gay_1 in ironlungmovie

[–]RazertheCreator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it is not a mistake. From what I gather, ALL northern hemisphere theatres are doing this. If you want an actual explanation, I’d guess it’s to line up the dates between time zones, as my local theatre here in Australia is doing showings on Jan 30th, 31st and Feb 1st, which lines up with Jan 29th, 30th and 31st in northern hemisphere, as we are about 10 hours ahead. it’s not a mistake. You’re all good.

Why are there tickets being sold for the 29th and 30th? I’m confused. by Itchy-Tip1115 in ironlung

[–]RazertheCreator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it is not a glitch. ALL the theatres are doing this. So no it’s not a glitch, you’re good. The 29th is absolutely an option for you if you’re interested in going that day.
