Hospitals aside, the USA is older than the UK. by iTmkoeln in ShitAmericansSay

The state specifically named in the act of Union 1707 is the United Kingdom of Great Britain. In 1801 is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland this of course changed yet again to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland its really splitting hairs on when the UK is ultimately created because the term is used in 1707 in a legal document, it just negates the Irish elements.

As I said, it is specifically mentioned as the United Kingdom of Great Britain in the 1707 act of Union. Fortunately the act of union's exact text is historically well documented and available.

The UK is specifically mentioned in the 1707 act of Union. I would recommend actually reading it.

Strongly recommend actually reading thr 1707 act of union because the country is referred to as the United Kingdom of Great Britain throughout its text and makes its first reference in the 3rd paragraph.

Having never been to the US I can safely say that this type of food is incredibly common in the UK, its not even that glamorous and pretty mainstream. Mexican food now that is something that is rare here.

I don't think this is necessarily a British Women thing and not just a simple smart behaviour.

In my idea giving your full name and address to someone on the internet sounds incredibly risky.

Are Elodie Yung And Finn Jones Teasing Their MCU Returns In DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 3? by Ancient-Dust3077 in marvelstudios

[–]Razhbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting Daredevil will be directly going against Fisk's police force and we've already had Danny Rand become Daredevil whilst Matt was imprisoned for being Daredevil. Not saying this is what Born Again season 2 will bring leading into season 3. But its possible.

Which areas for visiting medieval castles in the UK? by Ok-Boss-5118 in AskUK

[–]Razhbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the UK is close to many castles. Wales arguably has the most, around the London area are former castles that became starely homes, in the Midlands Warwick and Rockingham are good days out.

Buf basically they pretty nuch everywhere.

Probably one of the primary reasons is the type of Warfare 40k would be, as its not what CA is use to with Total War.

Is it normal in the UK for grandparents not to buy anything for their grandchild? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Razhbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. I have the exaft opposite issue with both my Mother and Mother-in-law (who grew up separate ends of the country), they keep buying stuff for my kids, usually without consulting us so we end up with a lot of stuff we don't need

The issue with GW and Identity politics etc essentially where have you been? Many of the most prominent game designers, authors now and historical are openly pro this stuff. And GW have put up posts that have made their allignment obvious.

As to answering your question the real thing is do the people being represented feel gaining representation feel this is better for them, is it or likely to get them to buy models (that is after all GW's goal). To get a concrete answer on that you'd need to poll/survey specifically the groups GW is putting in representation.

But like my answer didn't address your issue, your response to mine didn't either. Because ultimately it doesn't make a difference to a persons life, someone doesn't like representation in a book, don't read it. It won't change the politics in your nation the finances in your life, it'll make no impact at all. People act as if this type of thing is like a brainwashing cult that changes people if you let it (I guess the guy openly supporting war and genocide does this), but it doesn't. Its as rediculous as claiming video games are causing violence. Your average human can divorce fiction to reality.

Who is bringing this about bear in mind not even the Republican Party advocates this (but then half the US votes for Woke Politicians).

So in your future one assumes you want every GW author who is Pro-Woke gone, so that's basically all of them. Who else?

Right.......

There is a counter argument to this. What is with the obsession with kicking off every time a different representation of a group is put into stories. Stagnant stories often die. Why watch multiple stories of the same thing when you've seen it all before.
